I provide a supportive, collaborative space for individuals seeking meaningful and lasting change. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take that first step. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, with a strong belief that each person has the capacity for growth when given the right environment and tools.
I take an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and person-centered principles. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs, balancing emotional support with practical strategies you can use in your daily life. Together, we will explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying clear, achievable steps toward your goals and creating space to re-author personal narratives and foster lasting change.
I work well with both teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck, particularly those navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, complex relationships, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are highly capable but struggling with burnout, boundary-setting, or feeling pulled in multiple directions. I also provide an affirming, inclusive, and judgment-free space for individuals within the LGBTQ community to explore identity, relationships, and life experiences safely and authentically.
My goal is to help you feel more in control, more aligned with your values, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. Therapy with me is both a place to be understood and a place to grow. I welcome you to reach out for a consultation so we can explore how I can support you.
There is always room for growth no matter what age or where you are in life. It is my mission to help people in their personal growth and reach their full potential. I genuinely care for others and provide a safe and non-judgmental space for healing. Life can get overwhelming, but you don’t have to go through it alone. Through the Rogerian approach, I meet people where they’re at, being compassionate and warm, yet honest and straightforward. As a therapist I love utilizing a combination of therapeutic techniques from person-centered, CBT, TF-CBT, mindfulness, REBT, solution focused, psycho-dynamic, Gestalt and other modalities that have research proven results. Whatever you’re going through, I am here to support your journey. I am experienced and qualified to provide psychotherapy to individuals for issues varying from: depression, anxiety, grief/loss, trauma, low self-esteem, suicide ideation, to life stressors and more. You deserve to heal, grow, and live the life you want to live.

I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in California, with over 5 years of clinical experience supporting clients' mental health. I'm passionate about working with individuals who want to understand themselves on a deeper level, not just manage symptoms but shift the patterns underneath them. I work with adults navigating the emotional challenges that come from ADHD, anxiety, relationship stress, attachment wounds, or trauma. My role is to help you untangle what feels confusing, strengthen your sense of self, and move toward relationships and choices that feel secure and aligned.
*I only work with individuals, no couples, no minors (under 18)*
Trained in a range of therapeutic approaches, I am available to help clients navigate trauma, anxiety, relational issues, communication skills, depression, and stress management . As a first generation Eritrean American born and raised in the Bay Area, I struggled with a sense of belonging throughout my adolescence, often straddling the line between multiple identities and insecurities surrounding the idea of not being “American enough" and not being “African enough.” Early on in college, I took a psychology class that helped me further understand the human condition and its applications in my own life. I learned transformative concepts in terms of moods, relationships, and behaviors, prompting me to further pursue the field of psychology. Since then, I have taken it upon myself to get advanced training in various therapeutic approaches, which I believe help clients get the most out of their therapy experience.
I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. After completing training in 1999 at Southwest Missouri State University, I began practicing therapy in several different settings over 20 years ago. I have experience practicing in inpatient psychiatric care, foster care, group homes, home health and hospice, school settings, and private practice. Outside of behavioral health care and in my free time, I enjoy time with my children, family, friends, and pets, time outdoors hiking, swimming, camping, and exploring.
I am Rabia Khan, a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) and Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC). I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can explore challenges related to anxiety, trauma, identity, and relationships while working toward meaningful and lasting change.
I specialize in working with high-functioning individuals, including immigrants, first-generation clients, and people from BIPOC and minority communities who are navigating the pressures of success alongside emotional stress, cultural expectations, and unresolved past experiences. I also offer therapy in Punjabi, Urdu, and Hindi to support clients who feel more comfortable expressing themselves in their preferred language.
My approach is warm, structured, and trauma-informed, integrating evidence-based practices to help clients build insight, strengthen coping skills, and improve emotional well-being. My goal is to provide a space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow at their own pace.
My goal is creating a safe healing space for people to grow and connect to their true selves. I am a curious listener and it is my passion to empathetically and humbly guide you through your healing journey. I offer a space for people to explore the facets of their experiences as well as coping skills so you can connect with what matters most in your life. I have experience with the effects that generational trauma and difficult life adjustments can have on daily life when they are not processed. I have also seen the relief people gain when they are able to safely and collaboratively explore traumatic events.
My journey to becoming a therapist started 29 years ago on a personal recovery journey, recovering from personal trauma and addiction in the entire system growing up including family, and coming from a low SES background, therapy became a way to reconcile the change I was going through in my life. Working with and helping others has always been a calling of mine, and becoming a therapist was a natural extension of that ongoing work on both myself and in my work with others.
Beginning with a humanistic approach means meeting the client where they are at, and then conceptualizing the approach with a combination of humanistic and positive psychology, systems theory, and recovery-oriented systems of care.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 28 years of clinical experience. I have worked in County Mental, Substance Abuse, and Health Care settings with a wide range of individuals throughout the age spectrum. Reaching out for help can feel overwhelming. It takes courage and strength to reach out, yet it is the beginning of the healing process. I work from a client-centered whole-person approach that draws on your strengths to collaborate with you to bring about healing.
If you are experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, struggle to stay focused, not being able to complete tasks, unable to find time to enjoy the things you like to do, and/or struggling with relationships; now is the time to take that step.
Let's work together to create solutions to bring about a better quality of life. Today is the day to change your tomorrow.
I help people who are struggling with depression, anxiety, ADHD, and other mental disorders. I help them further develop their mindfulness, assertive communication skills, and capacity for love & respect for themselves, and, consequently, the rest of the world. I don't merely believe in therapy, I know first-hand the beneficial power it can provide. Before seeking mental health services for myself, I not only suffered from low self-esteem, I also experienced severe panic attacks. I am, and forever will be, grateful each and every day that those symptoms now only exist in my past. These are just a few of the reasons why mental health is by far my greatest passion in life.
I am a licensed marriage and family therapist with fourteen years of experience in the mental health field. Over the course of my career, I have had the privilege of supporting individuals, couples, and families as they navigate life’s challenges and work toward healthier patterns of relating. I am deeply committed to helping my clients develop a clearer understanding of their emotional world, recognize the roots of their reactions, and build practical skills to cope with the situations that life inevitably brings. My goal is to create a supportive, collaborative environment where clients feel empowered to grow, heal, and move forward with greater confidence and resilience.
Asking for help is one of the most courageous things you can do for yourself. Life can be stressful, and you can feel pulled in many different directions.
Being an African American man growing up in Los Angeles, I have faced my share of challenges and obstacles and when stress sets in, I understand that even the smallest pebble can feel like a major Boulder. I come from a traditional family where men and oftentimes women are discouraged from seeking help to deal with life's struggles and stresses. I aim to fill that void and change that narrative.
I empower Men, Women and Families to seek to understand their struggles, anxieties and life challenges and to overcome them.
Growing up I was challenged with depression and anxiety along with familial dysfunction. When I heard about psychology in sixth grade, I decided I wanted to be a psychologist. After starting a family and enduring an abusive marriage I went back to school to become a mental health therapist. I enjoy sharing my knowledge and challenging others to open their minds to a different way of thinking. Working with individuals as well as parents and couples is rewarding and fostering change for healthier relationships is truly beautiful.
I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist providing therapy in English, Russian, and Armenian. I work with children (6+), teens, and adults struggling with anxiety, depression, trauma, ADHD, low self-esteem, and confidence issues, as well as those adjusting to life stressors or recovering from car accidents. My goal is to help patients feel more stable, confident, and in control of their lives.
Welcome, my name is Cynthia Fong! I work with children, youth, and adults navigating a wide range of life challenges. My goal is to create a safe, supportive space where you can explore your concerns and build the skills needed for a more fulfilling life.
I specialize in supporting people experiencing anxiety, depression, pregnancy and parenting challenges, grief, life transitions, and various forms of trauma including sexual, emotional, and physical abuse.
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from California State University, Fullerton( go Titans!). I have practiced therapy for the past 7 years. I am a proud queer and gender diverse therapist that has experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. I strive to provide LGBTQIA affirming care through all of my work.
After earning my undergraduate degree at UC Berkeley, I spent a number of years traveling the world and then went on to earn two Master’s degrees, the second in Marriage and Family Therapy. I have been working as a therapist for close to seven years, but have worked as a counselor with children, adolescents, and families for over 15 years. I built my own academic counseling business after my first graduate school, in which I fostered relationships with families and the community. This experience working closely with hundreds of local families gave me great insight into the power of supportive, goal oriented, client centered, positive relationships as catalysts for change in individuals and relational systems.
I approach my clients with the belief that they are capable and valuable, and that with my support in identifying their strengths and resources, both internal and external, they can gain skills and achieve goals that can instill a sense of hope which enables them to move forward successfully.
I have spent a great deal of time traveling, living, and working in diverse parts of the world, and I believe my own experiences coupled with my genuine positive regard for people has cultivated a broad perspective of understanding that contributes to my success as a therapist.
I work with individuals who grew up with a pervasive sense that they were “outside the box”. Perhaps this was due to neurodivergence, cultural differences or struggles with gender and/or sexuality. Many of my clients arrive with previous diagnoses of ADHD, autism, anxiety and/or depression. They often have a creative side that has been suppressed in order to focus more on developing a professional self. Many of my clients report feeling like they have to wear a mask in the workplace and in social situations. It is not uncommon for them to feel lost, numb or lacking direction in their life.
As a therapist, my strengths are in my ability to follow creative lines and tie together seemingly complex thought and behavior systems to give you deeper awareness of the issues that present for you. My education and experience in community health and mental healthcare has prepared me as a therapist to provide therapeutic care that goes beyond asking deep questions. My approach to therapy is non-judgmental and is driven by the strengths of my clients.
If this resonates with you, I invite you to reach out. Together we can find a path.
I am a first‑generation, bilingual Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) with over 15 years of experience providing trauma‑informed, culturally responsive mental health care. I also work closely with first‑generation individuals, parents, caregivers, and people balancing multiple roles, responsibilities, and cultural expectations.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and grounded in evidence‑based therapy. I integrate Brainspotting for trauma processing and nervous system regulation, along with Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution‑Focused Therapy to help clients reduce anxiety, build coping skills, and create meaningful, sustainable change.
As a culturally attuned therapist, I believe therapy should honor your lived experience—not a one‑size‑fits‑all model. My goal is to create a supportive, affirming space where you feel understood, empowered, and equipped to navigate life’s challenges with resilience, clarity, and confidence.

My approach is relational, trauma-informed, and strongly neuroaffirming. I blend warmth, honesty, insight, and practical support to help clients better understand themselves and build lives that feel more sustainable and authentic.
Feeling overwhelmed by stress, emotions, or complicated relationships?
It’s time to make choices that work for you!
As a California Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (since 2014) and Certified Rehabilitation Counselor (since 2009), I offer a safe, judgment-free space where you can openly explore your thoughts and feelings. Together, we’ll tackle the negative patterns holding you back and work toward building a healthier, more balanced life. I’m here to actively listen, support, and help guide you through life’s toughest moments—with empathy and purpose.
Choosing a therapist can be challenging and confusing and one might ask, what does therapy involve? From my experience Therapy involves developing a very special relationship between a professionally licensed practitioner called a therapist and one or more people seeking to collaboratively define and achieve constructive change. This relationship is referred to as the therapeutic bond and is considered one of the most important parts of successful therapy. As such our first step in therapy is, from day one, to form that bond by establishing a trusting, non-shaming environment where any adolescent, person, couple, or family will feel safe and sense the therapist listens, cares, responds appropriately and understands.
Therapy on my behalf will involve empathy, genuineness, and mindful acceptance while we collaboratively establish therapeutic changes / goals which you feel are both desired and are ready to work forward and achieve. Our sessions will involve the language of change as perceived by you the client(s), and constructive finding of solutions. You will be able to present your story without fear of rejection dismissal, guilt or shame.
I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. I am very effective with adolescents and young adults, and people working in the stressful world of business, hi tech and active military service members, and veterans. During my time as a therapist, I have built a reputation as a caring, effective therapist who has my client’s best interests at heart. If you feel a connection or that contacting me could be of value, I would be very happy to hear from you. Until such time I wish you the very best in your quest.
Sincerely,
Mike

I have worked with diverse populations in varying settings and programs such as schools, community mental health programs, crisis intervention team programs, and outpatient settings providing individual and group services to clients ages 8-75 both face-to-face and on telehealth platforms. Currently, I have availability to work with individuals ages 18 and older through telehealth only.
After working in the fire service for 14 years and recognizing the need to bridge the gap between public safety and mental health services, I transitioned into the mental health field in 2014 and discovered passion for helping people of various ages and health needs. Therapeutically, I have gravitated towards solution-focused therapy blended with acceptance and commitment therapeutic work, mainly because of the drive I have to maintain hope for others, ingrained in me from my fire service career.
If you are looking for court mandated counseling, seeking letters for emotional support animals, work disability, custody, or other court related services, I do not provide those services, and refer individuals to other providers having those services as their specialties. I am looking forward to working with you to build solutions towards your preferred future.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) and certified as a Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP), Narcissistic Abuse Treatment Clinician (NATC), and Personality Disorder Treatment Provider (C-PD). I provide a supportive space where clients can process complex trauma, including betrayal trauma and difficult family-of-origin patterns.
I assist individuals recovering from environments shaped by abuse, neglect, abandonment, instability, fear, and coercive control. I help clients normalize their emotions, feel validated, and build greater resilience. I am certified as a DBT Clinician (C-DBT), Anxiety Treatment Professional (CCATP), Mood Disorder Professional (CMDP), and ADHD Clinical Services Provider (ADHD-CCSP).

As a dual major in psychology and sociology, my coursework was impactful, and the lessons continued in graduate school, where I earned dual master’s degrees in social work and public administration. I interned at a domestic abuse shelter, a residential crisis center, and a community behavioral health facility, and completed specialized trauma-informed care training.
My professional experience includes serving as a psychotherapist for survivors of domestic violence and sexual assault, working as a behavioral specialist for children with autism, ADHD, and adjustment challenges, and supervising social workers in county behavioral health settings. I have also led interdisciplinary teams of social workers and nurses in case management, supporting individuals with complex medical needs, and managed public health teams of case investigators, contact tracers, data analysts, and nurses in response to infectious disease outbreaks.
I am deeply committed to helping clients improve from psychological and emotional harm, recognizing the serious impact these experiences can have on overall well-being.

Hi! I'm a licensed MFT based in Pasadena, CA (but practicing via Telehealth.) I received my masters from the University of Southern California in 2014 and cut my teeth working with young people and their families around LA. My education, training and experience have taught me more than just how to treat relationship issues, emotional disorders, and behavioral problems; I'm also acutely aware of the cultural contexts that shape my clients. I practice from a lens that is social justice-oriented, anti-racist, and affirming of all identities, and recognize that systemic issues like discrimination, racism, and oppression significantly impact mental health. I don’t believe in a one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. Instead, I hold an unwavering belief in each person’s boundless potential. By focusing on what truly matters, we can always transform challenges into opportunities.

I am also trained in Brainspotting, a powerful tool we can use to access and process deep emotional pain and trauma that traditional talk therapy may not reach.
You might feel stuck in patterns like overthinking, anxiety, or relationship stress that are hard to turn off. Even when things look fine on the outside, it can feel exhausting trying to manage everything internally.
I work with adults who want to understand these patterns and respond differently, not just cope. Our work focuses on making sense of what is happening beneath the surface while also finding practical ways to feel more clear, grounded, and in control in daily life.
I integrate trauma informed care and parts work to help you build self-trust, set boundaries, and move through challenges with more clarity and confidence.
