I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist in California with over a decade of experience helping adults navigate anxiety, trauma, and relationship challenges. My work is grounded in creating a safe, culturally responsive space where clients feel understood, supported, and empowered to grow. I specialize in working with individuals impacted by trauma, domestic violence, and chronic anxiety. Many of my clients are high-functioning on the outside but feel overwhelmed internally. Together, we work to untangle patterns, strengthen emotional regulation, and build practical tools hat create lasting change. My approach integrates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), trauma informed care, and skills-based interventions to help clients process past move from survival mode into stability, clarity, and confidence. You don’t have to carry everything alone. Healing and growth are possible.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we will focus on understanding what brings you to therapy and identifying your goals. I will ask thoughtful questions to gain clarity about your experiences, stressors, and strengths. This session is also an opportunity for you to determine whether I am the right fit for you You can expect a structured yet compassionate space where we begin developing a clear direction for our work together. Most clients leave the first session feeling heard, validated, and more grounded.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What sets me apart is my ability to balance compassion with clarity. I create a space where clients feel deeply heard while also being gently challenged to grow. With extensive experience in trauma and domestic violence work, I understand complex relationship dynamics, emotional dysregulation, and patterns that keep people stuck. Clients often appreciate my structured yet practical approach. I don’t just provide insight—I help develop tangible skills you can apply in real-life situations. Whether we’re working on anxiety, trauma recovery, or boundary-setting, our sessions focus on both emotional processing and actionable change. I also bring cultural awareness and sensitivity into my work, recognizing how family systems, upbringing and cultural expectations shape emotional experiences and relationship patterns.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with adults who are ready to better understand themselves and shift patterns that no longer serve them. You may be experiencing anxiety, lingering effects of trauma, difficulty in relationships, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed. Some clients are navigating unhealthy relationship dynamics or rebuilding after difficult experiences. If you’re motivated for change—even if you’re unsure where to begin—we can work together to increase insight, strengthen boundaries, and build healthier coping strategies. I provide direct, supportive, and non judgmental space for growth.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify patterns between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we work on challenging unhelpful thinking patterns, developing coping strategies, and building practical tools to reduce anxiety, depression, and stress while improving overall functioning.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I integrate DBT skills such as emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness to help clients manage intense emotions, improve communication, and respond to stress in healthier ways.

Motivational Interviewing

I use Motivational Interviewing to support clients who feel stuck or ambivalent about change. This approach helps increase insight, strengthen motivation, and build confidence in making meaningful behavioral shifts.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

I use a solution-focused approach to help clients identify strengths, clarify goals, and build actionable steps towards change. This method is especially effective for individuals seeking practical strategies and forward movement.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I use trauma-informed and trauma focused CBT interventions to help clients process past experiences, reduce trauma related symptoms, and rebuild a sense of safety and empowerment.
