I help clients who struggle with Acute and Chronic Trauma, Borderline Personality Disorder, Anxiety disorders, and Depressive disorders. I am trained in utilizing Dialectal Behavior Therapy (DBT) and Eye Movement Reprocessing Desensitization (EMDR) therapy.
Although, I have training in specific therapy modalities I take time to incorporate client goals and address the needs of your mind, body and spirit. I also integrate mindfulness and art to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself. I am excited to begin working with individuals in their journey to self-exploration and healing.

Hello, I am a neurodivergent human who enjoys reading, gardening, drinking coffee, binge-watching TV, listening to music, and drinking coffee/tea. One of my favorite hobbies is collecting hobbies! I love cats and dogs but am allergic to both--feel free to let your pets interrupt sessions! Early mornings are my least favorite part of the day so I avoid scheduling responsibilities before 10AM.
Hi there, I'm Joshua!
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California with a master’s degree in social work, I specialize in providing compassionate, client-centered therapy using Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Internal Family Systems (IFS). My approach integrates these evidence-based methodologies to offer a holistic and effective path toward healing. I am dedicated to creating a safe, supportive environment where clients can explore and understand their internal experiences, develop practical skills for managing emotions, and foster personal growth. Together, we work towards lasting change and improved well-being, tailored to your unique needs and goals.
Hello, I’m a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. I earned my Master’s degree from the University of Southern California and have been working with clients for the past 10 years. I work with adults ages 18 to 60 who are navigating anxiety and depression, and my passion is helping people cultivate greater self-compassion, build confidence, and feel more capable in their everyday lives.
I started helping those who are seeking to up-level their experiences and shine as their true and authentic selves in 2019. My journey first started in residential treatment facilities where I held space for those in early recovery from substance use disorders. This population ranged from men's only, women's only and LGBTQ+ Many of these individuals also struggled with anxiety, depression, trauma and eating disorders. I have also had the opportunity to work with adolescents at risk of sex trafficking. This work is extremely rewarding as the clients are at an age where they are most influential and willing.
I am a deeply spiritual person and practice in the study of yoga and meditation and participate in somatic healings such as Kundalini Light Intergration (KALI) and breathworks. I am also a level two Reiki practitioner (training to become a master) and a certified personal trainer. When I am not holding space for healing, I enjoy being in the outdoors, surfing, climbing, reading and cooking nutritious and fun to eat meals. I hope to continue the journey of providing a safe space for individuals where healing can occur for years to come.
I offer sessions both early in the morning (5am - 7am) and later in the evening (6pm - 9pm) to accommodate those who work nine to five or those who just prefer early morning or evening therapy sessions.
Hi there, I'm Jaenai.
You made the right decision to seek out someone to talk to. We all deserve to have someone neutral to listen to our thoughts and feelings without judgement and to accept us for who we are. I help with managing trauma, depression, and anxiety. Together, we can identify what's not working and get you back to balance. We'll use a whole self, client-centered approach, addressing the needs of your mind and body. I also integrate mindfulness to help you develop a stronger relationship with yourself and others.
Whether you're dealing with overwhelm, relationship issues or cycles of anxiety and depression, I'm here to help. Seeking therapy at all can feel intimidating, but you're making the right decision. You deserve a safe space to talk to find yourself to heal and grow. In our sessions together, I'll meet you with compassion and we will use evidence-based techniques so you can overcome the hangups and habits holding you back. Schedule your first appointment today. I also speak Spanish. Unfortunately, I am not accepting couples for couples therapy at this time.
I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who was born and raised on Maui, Hawaiʻi. I am of mixed heritage—Hawaiian and Portuguese—and grew up at the intersection of Western influence and Indigenous ways of knowing. In my community, when someone was suffering, the first line of care often came from community healers—curandeiras—who worked with energy, connected with ancestors, and attended to what could not always be seen or spoken. There was also the influence of the land itself: the place that roots us, communicates with us, and teaches us. These early experiences shaped the way I understand healing, connection, and the deeper layers of human experience.
As a mixed-race trans man, I have spent much of my life navigating the intersections of culture, identity, and belonging. These lived experiences have shaped my capacity to hold complexity and nuance in the therapeutic process, and they have given me a unique perspective on how we hold ourselves—and one another—in mind. My work is grounded in an attachment-based, trauma-recovery, depth-oriented, and liberation-focused framework.
Depending on the needs of my clients, I also incorporate parts work, somatic approaches, mindfulness, and Brainspotting. I pay close attention to what is communicated beyond language—through tone, emotion, and presence. My ability to read people allows me to hear what is often veiled but deeply important to the experiences that may be keeping someone stuck. I approach this work with humility, care, and deep respect for each person’s story.
I have worked in the mental health field since 1995 across the San Francisco Bay Area, Maui, and Portland, Oregon, and I have been licensed and in private practice since 2017. It is a true honor to support people in their healing, growth, and self-understanding.
If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—whether from past trauma, grief, or relationship challenges—you’re not alone, and change is possible.
I specialize in working with adolescents and adults of all ages who are navigating trauma, abuse, and loss. Many of the patterns that feel difficult today once helped you cope or stay safe. In therapy, we’ll work to understand those patterns, build tools for regulation, and create space for healing and growth.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I use evidence-based practices including EMDR and somatic therapy to help process difficult experiences and support nervous system regulation—so you can feel more grounded, connected, and in control.
I bring both professional training and real-life experience, with a background in service, legal, educational, and nonprofit settings.

I'm an Oakland native, a Taurus, and a therapist — which means I take the work seriously without taking myself too seriously.
I came to this work the long way. As a children's social worker in LA County, I spent years in the intimate spaces of Black and brown communities — sitting with families in some of their hardest moments and learning, over and over again, that people are not the sum of their impulses, their regretted decisions, or the ways they've learned to cope. We are the result of our communities, our histories, everything we've had to carry — and resist.
My own time in therapy taught me something I couldn't have learned any other way: that being truly seen and accepted by another person creates slow, real transformation. That's the kind of work I want to do.
Outside of the therapy room, I'm usually at a concert, cooking something, tending my balcony garden, or hunting for records. I take my dining experiences seriously — no green grass walls and vibes.
Hi, I’m Jacey! I am a therapist who believes in showing up with warmth, authenticity, and no judgment. I strive to create a space where you can be fully yourself while we explore whatever life is bringing your way. My approach is genuine and collaborative, yet still challenging, with a focus on helping you feel supported, understood, and empowered to grow in all the ways you desire.
I'm an LCSW specializing in trauma, grief, attachment wounds, and anxiety. I help people understand why they react the way they do, so they can respond with greater clarity, confidence, and self trust. With over eight years of experience working with adults, young adults, and teens, I've helped clients navigate trauma, grief, anxiety, and the patterns that keep showing up no matter how hard they try to outthink them.
Therapy with me is collaborative, honest, and human. I show up as a real person who is warm, down to earth, and willing to gently challenge the patterns that are keeping you stuck when the time is right. I infuse our sessions with moments of humor when it helps create connection and ease, while also making space for the difficult conversations and emotions that deserve attention.
I use evidence based approaches including EMDR, CBT, DBT, trauma informed care, and parts oriented work because they help create lasting change, not just insight. My goal is not for you to depend on therapy forever. My goal is to help you better understand yourself, trust yourself, and leave therapy with the confidence and tools to navigate life long after our work together ends.
My style is deeply collaborative and person-centered—you are the expert on your own life. I draw from an eclectic, evidence-based toolkit (including EMDR, CBT, solution-focused, Gottman, and Attachment Theory) to help us understand the unique intersection of your lived experiences. With my background in Sociology and Women’s/Gender Studies, I also pay close attention to how your broader environment and lived experiences shape your journey.
I provide psychotherapy and counseling for individuals struggling with anxiety; a history plagued with substance use, abuse, and addiction; relationship difficulties; past trauma; and the effects of dysfunctional family relationships. If you are struggling in your personal or work relationships, if you are finding it hard to adjust to loss or trauma, or if you are finding it difficult to cope with the demands of everyday life, I can offer help in dealing with today's struggles--and hope for facing future challenges. I will work alongside you as you learn new ways to find success and happiness.
I've been a therapist for about eight years with a keen eye for helping others find deeper meaning through their hardships, a calming presence capable of modeling self-regulation, and a reliable ear for those that need to unload their perceived stress across different life chapters. I also offer a modern, diverse openness for cultural understanding as I am a male Latino fluent in Spanish, have Asian ethnicity, and am first-generation American. I can also empathize with perceived struggles as I grew up with low SES, was greatly affected by a custody battle into my teenage years, and became the primary healthcare agent for my father-figure until his passing from cancer during my early twenties. In more recent years, I learned the differences in transitioning from the role of a stepfather to becoming a father of a newborn. Understanding one's own pain from their story is key to learning the balancing act of validating and/or differentiating how to help others process their felt pain. I offer my therapeutic services as your existential teammate who will metaphorically walk by your side along your therapeutic journey.
Saundre has over 15 years of professional counseling experience working in shelters, schools, and mental health clinics. She received a master’s degree in social work from Howard University with a focus on Black mental health and community healing.
Growing up in East Oakland, in a single-parent household quickly taught Saundre about the importance of her own mental health care. Personally experiencing the effects of misogyny, classism and racism pushed her to create safe and humanizing spaces for Black Women to begin their healing journey.
During the pandemic she courageously opened her private practice Queens N' Therapy®, which is specifically tailored to meet the mental health needs of Black Women.
Welcome! ¡Bienvenido!
My name is Silvia and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the State of California. My mission is to create a positive, supportive space where you feel truly empowered. Therapy should feel like a meaningful conversation—one that helps you breathe a little easier and feel a little lighter each time we meet. I strive to offer an environment where you feel heard, supported, guided, and safe. Through a humanistic approach, I focus on making our time together feel valuable, collaborative, and deeply meaningful.
I have been a practicing therapist for over 5 years now. I have worked with a diverse group of populations dealing with depression/anxiety all the way to psychosis diagnoses. I implement a lot of Trauma Focused CBT and Motivational Interviewing into my practice. My clients have often told me that I bring a genuine and compassionate atmosphere to sessions which helps them feel more at ease. I take a very nonjudgmental "at your own pace" type of approach. I want to ensure you feel comfortable every step of the way through your journey with mental health.
As a seasoned therapist with nearly 20 years of consecutive licensing across multiple states, I specialize in a diverse array of client issues, including men's issues, LGBTQ+ concerns, aging and chronic illness challenges, sexual addiction, trauma and PTSD, anger management, clinical depression, and anxiety. My approach is built on an affirming and caring nature, allowing clients to feel safe and understood in our collaborative work. I utilize various therapeutic modalities, including person-centered therapy, CBT, and ACT, alongside group therapy, to tailor my interventions to each individual’s unique needs. My strong listening and speaking skills facilitate deep connections with clients, empowering them to explore their struggles, find meaning, and ultimately create positive changes in their lives. The impact of my work is reflected in the growth and resilience of my clients, as they navigate their personal journeys toward healing and fulfillment.
