I offer support to survivors of traumatic experiences, individuals who have experienced a loss or separation from a loved one, as well as those suffering from depression and anxiety. Emotional pain is as common as physical pain, and can be truly agonizing. I have years of experience in the areas of medical social work, grief and loss, trauma, depression and anxiety. I am constantly amazed by the human spirit and believe firmly that everyone has an ability to heal. Allow me the privilege of being part of your journey.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session will be one to get to know each other and begin to see if we are a good fit to work together. It will be an opportunity to let me know what brings you to therapy and I will help you understand the policies I run my practice by.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I have been in practice for over 20 years. I think my clients seem to benefit from my straight forward, direct and compassionate style which hopefully lets them feel seen and heard.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work primarily with adults. The areas I specialize in are chronic illness, depression and anxiety, trauma, grief and loss.

My treatment methods

Internal Family Systems (IFS)

I have a strong background in working with trauma survivors. Parts work (IFS) is a very empowering intervention to help clients connect with themselves, both the wounded and the strong, nurturing and compassionate parts that help with healing.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT helps clients learn to identify and work with negative thoughts that are often at the root of anxiety and depressive conditions. Being able to change the way we think, allows one to live a more positive and productive life.

Attachment-based

Using an attachment focused lense as a therapist allows me to better help clients heal from problematic family dynamics and move into healthier, more loving relationships.
