I spent the a decade working in the addiction treatment industry. Working in that industry opened my eyes to the need for adequate trauma treatment so I became trained as an EMDR practitioner. In studying mind- body approaches to trauma, such as EMDR, I learned about the effectiveness of Eastern Practices such as Yoga, Tai Chi and Meditation in treating a range of psychological challenges.Personally experiencing the benefits of a mindfulness practice led me to obtain formal training in the study of yoga, Tai Chi and mediation so I could bring those benefits to my clients as well. Currently, I specialize in treating a wide range of psychological challenges using integrative approaches such as mindfulness based and trauma informed approaches.
I am supportive, understanding, validating, open-minded, flexible, non-judgemental, kind, empowering, compassionate, hopeful, encouraging, (sometimes) humorous, and LGBTQ+ affirming. I have been a therapist in California since 2019 and have been fully licensed since 2022. I completed 3000 required intership hours at a Community mental health clinic, working with individuals, children ages 5-18, as well as couples and Families. I work with individuals facing problems with addictions, compulsive behaviors, and attachment issues that show up in the form of high-conflict relationships, self-sabotage, lack of connection, or loneliness. My overarching goal is to improve your mental health. It is possible with consistent attendance, complete honesty, and a willingness to change. I cannot achieve this alone; therapy is a lot of work, it requires commitment and follow-through.
Hi, I’m Luke Lorefice, a therapist and college/career counselor dedicated to helping men, young adults, including neurodivergent students and those facing emotional or academic challenges, find clarity, confidence, and purpose. I hold a Master’s in Social Work from Simmons University and a College Counseling Certificate from UCLA Extension. My work blends mental health expertise with academic counseling, employment, and life transitions. Through Grow and my private practice, Wave Point Counseling, I help clients explore meaningful paths whether that’s higher education, a career pivot, or rediscovering a sense of direction.
My name is Thomas Barhorst, and I started counseling in 2004. In addition to having a small private practice shortly after I received my Missouri license in 2007; I have worked as a K-12 school counselor, in substance use treatment, in a residential treatment setting, in a community mental health agency, helping individuals with disabilities transition into the workforce, and helping graduate students manage stress in their professional programs (i.e. medical school, dental school, etc.). Recently, I have begun providing telehealth therapy after obtaining licensure in Arizona and California.
Outside of work, spending time with family and friends is important to me. I also enjoy stories, laughing, listening to stand-up comedy, cooking, playing sports like wallyball and ultimate frisbee on a non-competitive level, watching film noir and psychological thrillers, recently had the opportunity to take my car to a racetrack, and have played bass guitar in a rock band.
Starting therapy can feel intimidating, and finding someone you genuinely connect with can make all the difference. My goal is to create a space where you feel comfortable being yourself—without judgment, pressure, or the expectation that you have everything figured out.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) who works with adults navigating anxiety, depression, life transitions, stress, self-esteem, relationship challenges, ADHD, and the emotional demands of everyday life. I believe therapy should be collaborative, practical, and tailored to your unique needs rather than a one-size-fits-all approach.
My style is warm, compassionate, and down-to-earth. I strive to balance validation with gentle challenges that help you recognize patterns, build resilience, and move toward meaningful change. Whether you're feeling overwhelmed, stuck, or simply looking for support during a difficult season, we'll work together to identify your strengths and create realistic strategies that fit your life.
I especially enjoy working with women, LGBTQ+ individuals, young professionals, and parents who are trying to balance caring for others while remembering to care for themselves. My goal is to help you leave sessions feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with tools you can use outside of therapy.
Reaching out for support is a courageous first step, and I'd be honored to be part of your journey.

Hello, I’m Sascha,
If you’re here, you’ve already taken an important step toward prioritizing your mental health. Beginning therapy can bring up a mix of emotions...empowerment, uncertainty, even hesitation—and all of that is valid.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 10 years of experience in the mental health field. My background includes work in county-based services, nonprofit mental health, foster care, and school settings. These experiences have allowed me to support individuals across a wide range of needs and life circumstances.
I believe that people generally have an internal sense of what they need and where they want to go, but at times can feel stuck or unsure how to move forward. My role is to help you gain clarity around what may be contributing to that feeling and to work collaboratively with you to develop practical, meaningful ways to navigate challenges.
Life stressors such as relationship dynamics, limited support systems, past experiences, and difficulties with emotional regulation can all impact our ability to function in the ways we want. In our work together, I aim to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where we can explore these areas and move toward greater stability, insight, and fulfillment.

Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in the Bay Area and serving children and adults throughout California via telehealth. I have over 10 years experience working with youth in the education setting and 7 years professional experience as a therapist.
I’m excited to work with young women of color and non-binary people of color who are navigating adulthood and working on defining themselves. Maybe you are navigating stressors related to your love life, career, balancing personal and family responsibilities, and feeling overwhelmed, anxious or depressed. Together we may uncover underlying trauma or self-limiting beliefs, work on boundaries, explore and better understand your needs. Perhaps this is the first time that you are able to prioritize your mental health, which is a first step in investing and valuing YOU. Let’s go on this journey with the self-compassion and softness you deserve.
Hello I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and have been practicing in the field of Social Work for over 30 years. I have worked with many different people from a variety of cultures. I have helped both children, adolescents and adults with various concerns from criminal behaviors, addiction, and serious mental illness. I have helped people change their behavior and thinking so they can reach their potential, achieve their goals and heal emotionally, spiritually, and physically.
Migdalia Villafane or “Dalia” as she prefers to be called believes that the therapeutic relationship is to assist individuals through therapy, changing the individuals’ lives for the better. Because this relationship is so essential, she believes it is important that she provides a safe, open and non-judgmental atmosphere where an individual can feel at ease. She knows that no single approach is the right one for every individual, so, she utilizes a range of therapeutic approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solutions Focused, Family Systems, as well as mindfulness training. Her educational background includes an MSW from the University of Southern California and she is licensed in the state of California as an LCSW.
