I have had the privilege of working with individuals across the lifespan—from young children to older adults—in a variety of settings, including schools, crisis units, hospitals, and private practice. While I’ve worked with many different populations, I specialize in supporting children and teens as they navigate challenges such as depression, anxiety, school-related stress, social difficulties, and parent-child conflict. My approach is compassionate and collaborative. I aim to create a safe and supportive space where clients and families feel heard and empowered. Together, we work to uncover strengths, build resilience, and take meaningful steps toward healing and emotional well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, my main goal is to help you feel safe, heard, and understood. We’ll take time to get to know each other and talk about what brought you to therapy. You don’t need to have all the answers—I’ll ask questions to better understand your experiences, challenges, and what you’d like to work on. This is your space, and there’s no pressure to share more than you’re ready to. I’ll also explain how therapy works so you know what to expect moving forward. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable and supported as we begin this process together.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

What stands out about my therapeutic approach is the balance I bring between support and challenge. I create a space where children and teens feel truly seen, heard, and safe—and at the same time, I gently challenge them to grow, reflect, and move toward positive change.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I’m best positioned to support clients who are seeking change or open to exploring it, even if they’re not exactly sure where to start. Whether you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or simply wanting something to feel different, therapy can be a space to gain clarity and take steps forward. I work well with individuals who are curious, reflective, and ready to engage in the process of understanding themselves more deeply. My role is to walk alongside you—helping you build insight, discover strengths, and move toward meaningful, lasting change.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I work collaboratively with clients to identify unhelpful thought patterns, develop healthier coping strategies, and build skills to manage symptoms such as anxiety, depression, stress, and more. I tailor the CBT approach to each individual, helping them set achievable goals and track progress along the way. My goal is to empower clients with tools they can use both in and out of sessions, fostering long-term change and emotional well-being.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

In sessions, I guide clients to explore their existing resources, past successes, and small, manageable changes that can lead to positive outcomes. By focusing on solutions rather than problems, clients often feel more empowered and motivated to take actionable steps. This approach is especially helpful for individuals seeking focused support, clear goals, and a collaborative path forward.

Strength-Based

In my practice, I help clients identify their strengths, values, and past successes to support them in navigating current challenges. We work together to reframe difficulties in a way that highlights their capacity for coping, healing, and achieving meaningful goals.
