LCSW, 7 years of experience
Hello my name is Ojuky and I am Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California. As your therapist I’m here to walk alongside you. Together, we’ll explore what you need, identify what’s not working, and create a path that feels right for you. Seeking therapy can feel intimidating, but taking this step shows your courage and commitment to becoming the best version of yourself. My approach looks at the whole person—we’ll consider every aspect of your life and well-being. I also love weaving your interests and hobbies into our sessions, whether that’s art, movement, or other activities that bring you joy. This is a space where you can feel safe, supported, and free to be vulnerable. My goal is to help you heal, grow, and overcome the challenges standing in your way—so you can step more fully into who you are meant to be.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step, and it’s natural to wonder what to expect. Our first session is really about getting to know each other and creating a space where you feel comfortable. I’ll spend some time learning about what brought you here, what you hope to gain from therapy, and any questions or concerns you might have. There’s no “right” way to show up—you can share as much or as little as you’d like. My approach is open-minded and flexible. I’m here to explore your needs with you, meet you where you are, and move at a pace that feels right. By the end of our first session, you’ll have a clearer sense of how I work and what our time together can look like moving forward. Most importantly, my goal is for you to leave feeling heard, supported, and hopeful about the journey ahead.
As a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, I take a holistic approach, exploring your experiences, strengths, and areas for growth to help you achieve greater balance and well-being.
I work best with teens and young adults, ages 13–24, who are ready to explore themselves and their experiences. This includes those who may feel misunderstood, struggle with self-compassion, or face challenges related to stress, life transitions, identity, or personal growth. My ideal clients are looking for a supportive, collaborative space to identify what isn’t working, clarify their goals, and develop strategies to feel more confident, balanced, and empowered.
Using Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), we’ll work together to identify negative thought patterns and replace them with healthier, more balanced ways of thinking. This helps reduce stress, improve mood, and build confidence in handling life’s challenges.
Using Motivational Interviewing, I help clients explore their goals, uncover ambivalence, and build confidence to take meaningful steps toward positive change.
I use Narrative Therapy to help clients explore the stories they tell about themselves and their lives. Together, we’ll examine how these narratives shape your experiences and identify ways to reframe or rewrite them, empowering you to step into the life you want to live.
