*Please note that I only accept insurance for individual therapy. The model I use to work with couples is attachment based and a non-medical approach to couples therapy and is unable to be billed through insurance. I have been a Marriage and Family Therapist for 20+ years and continue to feel honored to provide a space of curiosity, reflection, non-judgment and authenticity in order to support individuals and couples in making the changes they want to make in their own lives and in relationships. I have worked with people across various cultures and in many different walks of life-from people struggling with addiction, to immigrants resettling in the US, to people needing some support in navigating a life transition. I currently focus most of my work in private practice on working with people who are wanting to improve their relationships, learn ways to better manage emotions, heal from trauma or improve their relationship with food and body.

I use CBT, positive psychology, and a person-centered approach to help people understand their thoughts, regulate emotions, and respond more calmly to stress. Sessions focus on building trust, strengthening emotional awareness, and supporting individuals in finding their own voice while feeling respected, heard, and guided – not corrected or pushed. Over time, you’ll notice you become steadier, more confident, and clearer about what you want and need. Reactions soften, communication improves, and people feel better about their decisions. When you feel on top of things, you have space to grow and find your voice. There really is a better path.

My name is Romy Rodriguez and I am a Licensed Mental Health Counselor. I have worked with various populations with mental health and substance abuse struggles. I also provided Trauma Focused Cognitive Behavioral Therapy to adolescents and their families who were living in homeless shelters and were in the court system. I have also worked with women with Post-Partum depression and struggling with substance abuse. Two of the modalities that I work with are Brainspotting and EMDR. Brainspotting focuses on identifying specific eye positions (“brainspots”) that connect to unprocessed material in the brain. By maintaining focused attention on these spots, clients are able to access, process, and resolve underlying issues at a deeper neurological level. This approach is especially effective for trauma, anxiety, and emotional regulation, allowing for profound healing in a safe, attuned, and client-centered space. I also specialize in EMDR. Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is an evidence-based therapy designed to help clients process and heal from trauma, distressing memories, and negative beliefs. As an EMDR-trained therapist, I guide clients through structured phases that use bilateral stimulation (such as eye movements) to help the brain reprocess stuck or overwhelming experiences. This allows painful memories to lose their intensity and supports the development of more adaptive, empowering beliefs. EMDR is highly effective for trauma, anxiety, and other emotional challenges, offering deep and lasting relief in a safe, supportive, and client-centered environment.

I help clients move forward by combining insight with action. Together, we identify patterns, build emotional awareness, and develop concrete skills that can be applied in everyday life. Using evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, ACT, and EMDR, I tailor treatment to each individual so it feels relevant and effective. My background allows me to combine practical, skill-based strategies with deeper emotional work, helping clients not only gain insight but also build tools they can use in everyday life. I focus on creating a collaborative, supportive space where meaningful, lasting change feels both achievable and sustainable.

I am first and foremost a human which means that we have more in common than not. I identify as a sis gender, neurodivergent,, , African American/Black American woman, from the south and this shows up in sessions through cultural compassion for the clients I work with, open and respectful communication,, and sometimes the urge to talk more but instead my own skills to maintain a therapeutic and professional flow. I have an abundance of lived experiences and find some of them share worthy at times, when there are similar to experiences clients discuss.. I do enjoy levity when I experience it and bring that into the sessions at times. I love working with clients who are interested in CBT and DBT because I I enjoy practicing my skills ijn my personal life and sometimes something helps a client and my own personal development simultaneously and that’ lights up my heart. .

Hi, I’m Jennifer, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW). I work with teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, disconnected, or simply ready for something in their life to change. I believe therapy should be a place where you can show up as you are without feeling judged or pressured to have everything figured out. My style is warm, kind, and grounded. I genuinely enjoy getting to know people and hearing their stories. I want to understand the whole you, not just the struggles that brought you to therapy. I’ll listen, ask questions, and offer support and guidance while we work together to figure out what feels most helpful for you. I believe there is no one-size-fits-all approach to therapy. What works well for one person may not work for another, so I’m comfortable with a little trial and error. We’ll talk about what is working, what isn’t, and adjust along the way. I want therapy to feel like something we are doing together, with your needs, goals, strengths, and experiences guiding our work. Most importantly, I want you to feel comfortable being yourself in our sessions. You don’t have to come in knowing exactly what to say or where to start. We can figure that out together. My hope is to create a space where you feel heard, supported, and understood while helping you recognize your strengths, learn more about yourself, and make meaningful changes in your life.

Over my time as a therapist I have grown very passionate about working with individuals who have experienced trauma, specifically in childhood. I help individuals identify patterns in their lives that likely developed in childhood to cope with stress. I work with individuals to tap into their inner child and truly understand what they need to do to heal. I have a specialty in Juvenile and Adolescent disorders from Grand Canyon University. I take a unique and compassionate, yet direct approach to therapy, and strongly believe in meeting my clients where they are. Healing is not linear. I believe you are the expert on yourself, and my role is to provide guidance and support as we work toward greater understanding, positive change, and personal growth. My name is Susan Charney MSW,LCSW with a diversified experiential backround. I work with those individuals ,couples and families that are compliant and realize that everyone can use some help at some point. It takes courage to realize help is needed. My job in the first session, is to be transparent and to establish trust.Thank you for choosing me as your therapist.Therapy is most effective when it is active, collaborative, and focused on meaningful change. In my work, clients are supported in exploring what is and isn’t working in their lives and relationships, while also developing practical strategies they can use day to day. Sessions are engaging and interactive, with thoughtful questions, feedback, and guidance designed to help move things forward in a clear and purposeful way. With more than 25 years of experience, support is offered to individuals and couples navigating relationship challenges, family conflict, grief and loss, anxiety, life transitions and , traumas. Couples and families are helped to recognize unhelpful patterns, improve communication, rebuild trust, and develop healthier ways of resolving conflict. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy is an important foundation, however, care is tailored to each person and situation rather than relying on a single approach. The focus is not only on understanding the roots of a concern, but also on identifying concrete steps that can lead to improvement in daily life and relationships. Experience also includes work with individuals facing extraordinary stress, trauma, grief, and crisis, including those impacted by events such as September 11, care provided at Landstuhl Regional Medical Center, frontline healthcare workers during the COVID-19 pandemic, and individuals affected by the war in Israel. These experiences have reinforced the importance of meeting people where they are, offering nonjudgmental support, and helping them find practical ways forward during some of life’s most challenging moments.

You don't need to have it all figured out before you begin — that's okay. I know that first step can feel like the hardest one to take. All you need is the willingness to take it. I help adults who feel overwhelmed by anxiety, trauma, chronic health conditions, pain, or major life changes reconnect with themselves and feel more in control of their lives. I began my social work career in 2006 in medical social work, hospice, and home health, supporting individuals and families through chronic illness, serious health concerns, loss, and difficult transitions. These experiences shaped my understanding of the deep connection between physical health and emotional well-being. I became a mental health provider because I believe everyone deserves to feel heard, understood, supported, and empowered. I'm passionate about helping people regain a sense of themselves, find hope, and develop tools to move forward through trauma, stress, and difficult circumstances. Sometimes life simply becomes too much, and it's okay to say, "This is hard," and ask for help. I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDRIA Certified EMDR Therapist, and EMDRIA Approved Consultant-in-Training. I primarily work with adults navigating life transitions, chronic health conditions, pain, medical trauma, and traumatic experiences. My approach is integrative and individualized, drawing from EMDR, Brainspotting, clinical hypnosis, IFS-informed and parts-based approaches, Ego State Therapy, Imaginal Nurturing, and Deep Brain Reorienting (DBR), tailored to each client's needs and goals. I believe wellness is holistic — we don't get sick one way, and we don't get well one way. Mental and physical health are deeply connected, and I'm here to support your whole-person well-being through counseling, so you can get back to being you and enjoy life again.

Hello, I have been a therapist for my whole life, or so it would seem. I feel as though I have always been a good listener and have been there for friends, family and people that need somebody to listen. I have learned a lot about what people have gone through, from working with adults in jail and/or teens trying to understand themselves. Life is complicated, maybe you just need somebody to listen.

My journey into therapy began with a desire to help the hurting individuals I worked with in a group home, and a genuine passion for helping others find strength through life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people facing a wide range of challenges—experiences that have shown me just how powerful and transformative therapy can be. These moments have only deepened my commitment to walking alongside others on their path to healing. I’m continually inspired by the belief that every person holds the capacity for growth, resilience, and change. We can change and heal. Sometimes we just need a little help along the way. I treat adults age 18 and up.

I'm committed to helping individuals heal the emotional wounds created by trauma, chronic stress, abandonment, anxiety, relational pain, and survival-based coping patterns. Through trauma-focused therapy, emotional regulation work, and evidence-based treatment approaches, I support clients in developing emotional safety, self-compassion, healthy boundaries, and sustainable healing. I believe recovery is not about becoming a different person; it is about reconnecting with the parts of yourself that trauma taught you to abandon.

My background includes working in crisis settings, community mental health, private practice, schools, and with athletes, giving me a well-rounded understanding of the unique struggles people face throughout different stages of life. My approach is warm, down-to-earth, and collaborative. I believe therapy should feel like a safe conversation where you can be yourself without fear of judgment. Rather than simply focusing on symptoms, I work alongside my clients to identify underlying patterns, build resilience, develop practical coping strategies, and create lasting, meaningful change. I integrate evidence-based approaches, including trauma-informed care and EMDR, while tailoring treatment to each person's individual needs and goals. My ideal clients are Women and older adolescents who are ready to improve their emotional well-being and create a healthier, more fulfilling life. I frequently work with individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, life transitions, low self-esteem, ADHD, postpartum concerns, stress, and relationship challenges. I also enjoy supporting athletes, professionals, caregivers, and individuals who feel overwhelmed by the demands of everyday life. Clients often describe me as approachable, genuine, encouraging, and easy to talk to. I strive to create a space where people feel heard, respected, and empowered to grow at their own pace. My goal is to help every client leave therapy feeling more confident, capable, and equipped with the tools they need to move forward with hope.

DISCLAIMER: Please do not book me based off of ratings or reviews. Your experience with me will be personal and UNIQUE to YOUR needs, not someone else's needs or experience. Please book me if you perceive I am the right TOOL to use and help you reach your INDIVIDUAL goals. Book me if you are seeking an action-oriented therapist who provides HOMEWORK! Book me if you have insight about your situation, some history with therapy, are seeking solution-focused steps, and are not seeking someone to solely affirm you. I may or may not be the best therapist for newcomers (depends on you) as I ask a lot of questions, which can overwhelm you if you are not used to being questioned. Questioning is to understand you and get to the root of the problem, as well as the excuses used to perpetuate the problem. I am not interested in treating symptoms but rather getting to the core of the problem. If you don't want to do the work, I am just an expensive "Friend". So please be sure that you understand my style before booking me ;-). I am warm, DIRECT, solution-focused, AUTHENTIC, mildly confrontational, 100% Raw/Real and guaranteed to make you laugh as I have often heard from clients that I am funny :-) I won't lie to you or co-sign lies you tell yourself. I will gently reflect what you are not saying and what you are not showing so that you can explore for yourself. The only way out of pain is through. Not above, below, around but through.. The good news is you are not alone and don’t have to do it alone. Utilize the resources offered in this collaborative effort in creating the life (mind, body, & soul) you deserve.
