I feel like y job as a therapist is to be a non ojective person for my clients to listen to. I have been a therapist for over 15 years and I find that the process is organic if they are comfortable and fit with the right therapist for them. I am here to listen, guide, educate, process and support my clients, meeting them where they are in live and helping guide them to where they want to go.
The first session is very laid back and a chance for my clients to get to know me, let me get to know them and develop the rapport and trust it takes for therapy to be effective.
I have been a therapist long enough to know that every client is different and my job is to meet them wehre they are and form a plan with my client that is individualized for them specifically .
Whether it is your first session or you are a veteran of therapy my job is to guide you through this specific time in your life and help you solve, explore and understand the things that may be standing in your way. I am willing to meet a client where they are so to me there is not a ideal client. Therapy is a process and can be different for everyone and different based on your therapist so I just want to walk along side a client in this journey for as long as they are looking fo support.
I help clients think about their thought process and how to problem solve or thing in a positive way for the overall outcome towards their goals.
