About me

Hello, I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist for the state of California and Arizona. I received my masters from the University of Phoenix and have been practicing therapy in California for about 13 years in various settings. I recently obtained my license to work with clients residing in Arizona. I have experience working in a healthcare setting, school campuses, domestic violence shelters, and with substance abuse.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In the first session, I aim to learn who you are and what brings you to therapy. I have a questionnaire I will start with, but I try to make it as personable and informal as possible. Time usually flys by but if time allows, with the client's help, we try to narrow down a couple of goals to continue exploring at the follow up sessions.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

Having gone through my hardships in life such as peer relationships, and self-esteem issues, as an example, it's provided me with empathy and insight which help build rapport and connection with my clients.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I welcome anyone who desires to make a positive change in their lives. They are aware something needs to change but unsure how to do this. I enjoy assisting these client's in discovering they hold the key to this change and work towards building a healthy self-esteem and empowerment.

I was having a very difficult time the day of my first meeting with Georgina Crisanto, I thought about canceling the meeting, but I really needed to talk to someone. In general, I felt that croissant was upset. I felt that Crisanto did not want to continue in the meeting. She then lied to me and verbally scheduled a future meeting, letting me know she would promptly send her phone number confirmation, which I didn't receive till maybe a few days before the meeting. This has caused so much stress because I haven't been able to get a refund for a no-show which I wasn't aware. I thought she canceled the meeting because I didn't receive an email right away or a confirmation. I did go ahead and schedule a second appointment with her before I knew she had not canceled the appointment for March 12 and I was waiting for that appointment to meet again because I knew that appointment was confirmed. I wanted to give her a second try because I thought she would be able to help me But at this point I do not want to meet with her and I don't know how to cancel my April 9 appointment.
