About me

I’m Cheyenne, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and holistic, trauma-informed therapist who believes therapy can be about more than simply coping, it can help you create meaningful, lasting change. I specialize in supporting adults navigating trauma, anxiety, relationship challenges, life transitions, and patterns that leave them feeling stuck or disconnected from themselves. My approach blends evidence-based therapy with somatic and whole-person practices to help clients better understand themselves, heal underlying patterns, and feel more grounded, empowered, and connected in their lives.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first session is a chance for us to get to know each other and begin understanding what brought you to therapy, what you’re experiencing now, and what you would like to change. We’ll explore some of the experiences and patterns that may be contributing to where you feel stuck, while moving at a pace that feels comfortable for you. You’ll leave with a clearer sense of what we can work toward together and what your path forward may look like. Most importantly, my goal is for you to feel heard, understood, and hopeful that meaningful change is possible.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I bring warmth, curiosity, and authenticity into my sessions, while also being willing to gently challenge clients when it can support meaningful growth. I take a whole-person approach, looking beyond symptoms to understand the deeper patterns, experiences, relationships, and nervous system responses that may be keeping you stuck. By integrating trauma-informed, somatic, and evidence-based approaches, I help clients build greater self-awareness, reconnect with themselves, and create changes that feel meaningful and sustainable, not just learn how to cope.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

My ideal client is someone who is open-minded, curious, and ready to create meaningful change in their life. You may be navigating anxiety, trauma, relationship challenges, life transitions, or simply feeling stuck in patterns you know are no longer serving you. You don’t have to know exactly what needs to change, you just need a willingness to explore yourself more deeply and try something different. I especially enjoy working with clients who want to move beyond simply coping and are ready to build greater self-awareness, heal old patterns, reconnect with themselves, and create a life that feels more authentic and fulfilling.

My treatment methods

Somatic

I use somatic and mind-body approaches to help clients better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, physical sensations, and nervous system responses. Together, we may notice where emotions or stress show up in the body, practice grounding and nervous system regulation, and explore patterns that can be difficult to access through talking alone. This approach can be especially helpful for trauma, anxiety, emotional overwhelm, and feeling disconnected or stuck, allowing us to work toward change at both the cognitive and body-based level.

Integrative

I use an integrative approach because I believe therapy should be tailored to you rather than expecting you to fit into one specific method. I draw from multiple evidence-based, trauma-informed, somatic, and mind-body approaches based on your needs, goals, and what resonates with you. This allows us to address the whole person—thoughts, emotions, relationships, behaviors, and nervous system patterns—while creating a personalized path toward healing, growth, and lasting change.
