I’m a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor who works with children, adolescents, and adults navigating anxiety, trauma, and life transitions. I provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space where clients can better understand themselves, build emotional regulation skills, and create meaningful change. My approach is collaborative and trauma-informed, helping clients feel both challenged and supported as they work toward healthier patterns and improved well-being.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. You’ll have space to share your concerns, experiences, and goals at your own pace, while I ask questions to gain a clearer picture of your needs. We’ll also begin identifying patterns, strengths, and areas you’d like to work on, and I’ll share how I can support you moving forward. My goal is to create a comfortable, collaborative environment where you feel heard, understood, and supported from the start.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths are creating a supportive, nonjudgmental space while also helping clients gain clear insight into their patterns and behaviors. I balance compassion with structure, using a trauma-informed approach to help clients understand how their thoughts, emotions, and past experiences are connected. I’m skilled at helping clients improve emotional regulation, challenge unhelpful thinking patterns, and develop practical coping strategies they can apply in their daily lives. I also focus on building self-awareness and empowering clients to make meaningful, lasting changes in their relationships, decision-making, and overall well-being.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I work best with children, adolescents, and adults who are experiencing anxiety, trauma-related concerns, or navigating life transitions and are ready to better understand themselves and create meaningful change. Many of my clients feel overwhelmed, stuck in patterns, or unsure how to manage emotions, relationships, school, or daily stress. For children and adolescents, I support emotional regulation, behavior challenges, and difficulties related to family, school, and peer relationships. I also collaborate with caregivers to support consistency and growth outside of sessions. My clients are often open to self-reflection and motivated to build insight, develop healthier coping skills, and improve their overall well-being. I provide a supportive, collaborative space where clients can feel understood while working toward lasting, meaningful change.

My treatment methods

Trauma Informed Care

I approach therapy through a trauma-informed lens, helping clients understand how past experiences influence current patterns, behaviors, and relationships while prioritizing safety and empowerment.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I incorporate DBT skills to support emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness, especially for clients experiencing intense emotions or relationship difficulties.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I use CBT to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns, increase self-awareness, and develop more adaptive ways of thinking and responding to stress.

Psychoeducation

I provide psychoeducation on the nervous system to help clients understand stress responses (e.g., fight, flight, freeze) and build skills to regulate and feel more grounded. I incorporate attachment-based and emotion-focused strategies to help clients understand relationship patterns and deepen emotional awareness.
