Hello! I’m Emma, a Licensed Independent Social Worker who works with teens, young adults, and adults. My approach is warm, honest, and collaborative. I am direct and not afraid to gently challenge unhelpful or unhealthy thoughts and behaviors, because real growth often comes from looking at things differently. I balance this with compassion and humor, using laughter as a way to build connection and make tough conversations more manageable.
I aim to create a safe, affirming space where clients feel supported in exploring their emotions, building skills, and working toward goals that matter in daily life. My work is trauma-informed, culturally responsive, and gender-affirming. I strive to meet clients where they are while helping them move toward where they want to be.

Hello! I have been continuously licensed as a Clinical Psychologist since 1999. I grew up poor in inner city Cleveland. I was the 1st in my family to complete a college degree of any kind. I was a truck driver before I became a psychologist. I have a neuromuscular disability which effects my lower arms and hands and lower legs and feet. I use a wheelchair for long distances but I can walk a little. I graduated with a BA in psychology from Cleveland State University in 1992. I graduated with my doctorate in clinical psychology from the Illinois School of Professional Psychology in Chicago in 1998.
I am a woman who grew up in a military family that has moved all around the world and changed many schools growing up. I started my career in juvenile corrections, then addiction studies, then mental health and now integrated healthcare. I specialize in the whole person and encouraging them to be the person they wish to be and seek to be. I have dealt with many adversities in my life as well as many amazing things that have occurred in my life. I use those experiences in my practice to empathize with my clients and remind them that all people experience things differently even if they are the same experiences. Individualized treatment is essential.
Hi there! As a mom and someone who has personally healed through Internal Family Systems (IFS) parts work, Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), somatic, and attachment-based work, I understand how past experiences can show up in relationships and parenting. I work with adults and parents who want to heal from complex trauma and attachment wounds—especially when the past keeps showing up in your relationships, parenting, or everyday life. If you’ve tried therapy before and are ready for deeper work, I can help you move past patterns that logic alone hasn’t solved. Together, we’ll use inner child work, nervous system regulation, and trauma-informed approaches to help you feel more grounded, connected, and confident in yourself and your relationships.
I graduated from Heidelberg University with a Master of Arts in Counseling and from Tiffin University with a Bachelors of Psychology. I am now a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor Supervisor(LPCC-S) and Licensed Independent Chemical Dependency Counselor (LICDC). I am EMDR Trained. I have experience in various settings including correctional facilities, community mental health, private practice, detox and inpatient facilities. I can walk through this journey with you to teach you to manage the stressors of daily life.
I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor in Ohio and I have over three decades of walking alongside people who have or are experiencing the hardships this life often delivers. I consider myself to be a change agent and my areas of expertise include trauma, grief and loss, end of life issues, parenting concerns, anxiety, and depression. I use evidenced based practices including (but not limited to) Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy.
I have been practicing as a social worker since 2018. I have had the good fortune to work for several types of agencies during that time and have experience with severe, persistent mental illness as a result of my time working for an inpatient psychiatric unit as well as experience working as a therapist in community mental health. I am currently working with adults aged 18 and up. I have been successfully treating first responders, military personnel, and survivors of domestic violence and child abuse.
I am a trauma survivor who is also the mother of two amazing children on the Autism Spectrum. As a result of these two circumstances, I have spent time on the other side of the therapeutic relationship and became a therapist to pay back the time and attention that was given to me while my family was needing healing and support.
I have specialized training in EMDR treatment and certification for personality disorder treatment. I utilize a very directive approach to treatment and encourage the client to guide their treatment so it is a joint process where they can feel empowered.

Right now, life may feel hard. You’ve faced many challenges that seemed to have come out of nowhere, and you're constantly doing your best to navigate through them. You struggle to set healthy boundaries and often feel overwhelmed. Asking for help isn't always easy. You may say to yourself, “What will people think? I can figure it out on my own.” It’s tough because you usually go at it alone, carrying the load and bearing the burden. However, deep down inside, you know that something isn't quite right and that you could use some support. Does this sound familiar? As someone who has been there before, I understand how tough it can be to take that first step to reach out.
While you may feel like you have to handle everything yourself, these are the times when reaching out for help can give you some direction and help you find your path forward. The truth is, it takes strength and courage to say, “I need help.” And when you do, you'll find that you have the inner strengths and abilities to make meaningful change in your life. Together, we can work to discover those strengths and create a path forward that's tailored to your unique needs and goals.

My clinical work is driven by empathy, collaboration, empowerment, connection, and the belief that each client can transform and reach their highest potential. If life has felt heavy lately, you’re not alone. Many people are navigating the stress and uncertainty of our changing world, alongside personal and relational challenges that can affect peace of mind and connection.
My name is Monica, I'm a Licensed Social Worker and I believe that a strong, trusting therapeutic relationship is a vital part of the healing process, providing a safe, supportive space where real growth and transformation can happen. I help adults deepen self-understanding, release old patterns, and build more fulfilling relationships.
I'm a social worker with 50 years of experience with children, adolescents, families, couples and adults. I find that people get the best results when we look at their lives as a whole -- physical, emotional, intellectual, what many people call spiritual (your most deeply held beliefs and values), and socially, as a member of your community.
I have training and experience in a variety of treatments which are evidence-based. I can also do dreamwork if this is something that is appealing to you, but I have to say up front that these, while very well known, do not have the same degree of corroboration as evidence-based practices.
I have worked since the late 70s with survivors of trauma: physical abuse, neglect, sexual assault, and combat trauma. It is a great honor to have received the trust of so many who have endured trauma, and to have been a part of their healing.
I have worked for several years to support clients in different phases of life from adolescence, high school, emergency psychiatric admission as well as outpatient services. I often work with clients who have a history of complex trauma and/or loss. I know firsthand that the dark days can feel unbearable, but there are better days ahead. I like to say that I can take clients from "surviving" to "thriving".
I am a licensed clinical social worker, advocate, mother, runner, and yoga enthusiast. I believe that everyone would benefit from talk therapy because life is challenging, complicated, and busy. I fully understand that getting ourselves to therapy is, at times, not easy and sincerely appreciate every client that intentionally decides that they are ready to grow, heal, and evolve. I believe in the power of becoming comfortable with being uncomfortable so as to push ourselves to step outside of our comfort zones.
In therapy with me, there’s no judgment, no fluff, and no “one-size-fits-all” solutions. We’ll start where you are whether that’s putting out fires in your daily life or addressing deeper wounds that keep pulling you back. I combine Brainspotting, practical tools, and direct conversation to help you manage today’s struggles while healing the past. My focus areas include anxiety, depression, trauma, substance abuse, and domestic violence. I also work with therapists, first responders, and others carrying the weight of the world.
My style is direct, compassionate, and grounded in the belief that healing is messy but possible. Together, we’ll create a space to explore your emotions, uncover patterns, and build strategies that work for you. It’s not about perfection it’s about progress and reclaiming your life on your terms.
