Hello! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, with 4 years of experience providing psychotherapy. I enjoy helping adults on their mental health journey, I believe that healing occurs not only in the mind but in the body as well. That’s why I combine traditional talk therapy with mind-body approaches to address the root causes of distress and promote lasting change.
In our first session together, we'll start with gathering some of your history, then dive into some of the specific challenges you're facing. This will help me create a tailored plan for us to work through in follow-up sessions.
Healing is a personal journey. I’m here to support you in addressing emotional, physical, and mental aspects, helping you release the past, manage stress, and create a future of growth, peace, and well-being.
I specialize in working with adults who are looking for effective, lasting relief from trauma, anxiety, stress, and/or emotional challenges.
Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a therapy method primarily used to help individuals process and heal from traumatic or distressing experiences. I have completed EMDR training and have used EMDR to help dozens of clients greatly advance their healing process.
I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help individuals identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thoughts and beliefs, then replace them with more balanced and constructive ones. This shift in thinking leads to healthier emotions and behaviors, improving overall mental well-being.
I use Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) to help individuals manage intense emotions and improve relationships by teaching skills in mindfulness, emotional regulation, distress tolerance, and interpersonal effectiveness. DBT combines cognitive-behavioral strategies with acceptance practices to promote lasting behavioral change
I use Strength-based therapy to focus on a person’s inherent strengths, resources, and resilience rather than their deficits or problems. It helps clients build confidence and motivation by identifying what they do well and using those strengths to overcome challenges and achieve goals.
I use psychoeducation to help clients understand their mental health conditions, symptoms, and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions and actively participate in their recovery. It also helps reduce stigma, increase self-awareness, and improve coping strategies by providing accurate, accessible information.
