I am committed to supporting individuals in overcoming personal challenges and achieving greater well-being. I work with a diverse range of clients, including those with anxiety, depression, autism, ADHD, life transitions, perinatal & postpartum mental health, self- discovery, self-esteem struggles, and emotional regulation difficulties. By providing personalized, compassionate care and evidence-based strategies, I empower clients to build resilience, develop coping skills, and create meaningful, positive changes in their lives.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know each other and understanding your reasons for seeking therapy. I’ll ask about your background, current challenges, and what you hope to achieve through our work together. This is a safe space for you to share openly, and I’ll answer any questions you have about the process. Together, we’ll begin to build a foundation for your personalized therapy journey.
My greatest strengths lie in my ability to create a warm, empathetic, and non-judgmental environment where clients feel truly heard and supported. I draw from a flexible, integrative approach—combining person-centered, CBT, mindfulness, and compassion-focused methods—to tailor therapy to each client’s unique needs. This personalized approach helps clients build self-awareness, develop practical skills, and make meaningful, lasting changes in their lives.
My ideal clients are individuals who are motivated to understand themselves better and are ready to work toward positive change. I am best positioned to serve clients dealing with anxiety, challenges related to autism, self-esteem issues, and difficulties with emotional regulation or social interactions. Whether you’re looking to develop coping skills, improve your relationships, or build confidence, I provide a supportive and non-judgmental space to help you achieve your therapy goals at your own pace.
Linda O'Leary offers therapy covered by CareSource - Medicaid and UnitedHealthcare/Optum - Medicaid in Ohio.
I like to create a supportive and non-judgmental environment where my client feels heard and valued. Rather than directing the session, I like to encourage self-discovery and personal growth by reflecting the person’s experiences back to them, helping them find their own solutions.
I help clients identify and challenge negative or unhelpful thought patterns that impact their emotions and behaviors. Together, we work on developing healthier thinking habits and coping strategies through structured exercises and homework assignments. I also support clients in setting specific goals and gradually facing situations that cause distress, helping them build confidence and improve their overall well-being.
I focus on identifying and building upon the client’s existing strengths, skills, and resources. I encourage clients to recognize their resilience and past successes to empower them in overcoming current challenges. By highlighting their abilities and fostering a positive mindset, I help clients develop confidence and motivation to achieve their goals and create meaningful change.
I guide clients to develop present-moment awareness and acceptance of their thoughts, feelings, and bodily sensations without judgment. I teach mindfulness techniques such as breathing exercises, meditation, and grounding practices to help clients manage stress, reduce anxiety, and improve emotional regulation. By cultivating mindfulness, clients learn to respond to difficult situations more calmly and with greater clarity.
I tailor my approach by combining techniques and theories from different therapeutic models based on each client’s unique needs and goals. I remain flexible, drawing from cognitive, behavioral, humanistic, mindfulness, or other approaches to provide the most effective support. This personalized method allows me to address the whole person—mind, body, and emotions—facilitating deeper healing and growth.
