What typically surprises people is that I am the 11th of 13 children - all from the same parents. Growing up with so many siblings has given me a great opportunity to learn about family dynamics and effective discipline. My parents did a great job of maintaining a safe and well-behaved home, and I use their example as a template while also incorporating my own experience as a parent for working with families today. As for my approach to therapy, I use several different theories depending on the need of the client; however, my primary mode is Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT). It just fits my personality. If you are looking for a therapist who focuses solely on your emotions and how you're feeling on any given day, then I will not be a good fit for you. On the other hand, if you're looking for a therapist who not only does all that but who will also listen to everything you say (as well as the meaning behind what you say) and then challenge your thinking habits to help you find more effective and productive thinking patterns, then I'm on board for that. I learned a long time ago that many clients do not want things "Sugar Coated", but rather prefer their therapist to be respectfully bold and blunt. If this is who you are looking for in a therapist, then let's get to work.

My journey into therapy began with a desire to help the hurting individuals I worked with in a group home, and a genuine passion for helping others find strength through life’s most difficult moments. Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of supporting people facing a wide range of challenges—experiences that have shown me just how powerful and transformative therapy can be. These moments have only deepened my commitment to walking alongside others on their path to healing. Let me guess: You've been thinking about therapy for a while now. Maybe months, maybe years, but something kept stopping you. Too busy, too expensive, "it's not that bad yet," or maybe just the fear of opening up to a stranger who might judge you or not really get it. Here's what I want you to know: You don't need to wait until things get worse, you don't need permission to ask for help, and you don't have to figure this out alone. That's why I'm here. As a board-certified bilingual therapist, veteran, and founder of www.TalkHealRepeat.com , I've spent over 10 years supporting thousands of clients through trauma, anxiety, depression, and life transitions that once felt impossible, from crisis units and corrections facilities to refugee shelters and quiet therapy rooms, working with chronic mental illness, personality disorders, abuse, trauma, ADHD, OCD, addictions, and some of the hardest moments of their lives. Here's what I know for sure: healing doesn't require perfection, it requires honesty and someone who actually gets it. You're not broken, you're dealing with hard things, and you deserve help that feels supportive, not cold, not judgmental, not like one more thing you're supposed to "fix" about yourself. 🔺If you can’t find a time on my calendar, message me. I’ll move things around, lose a lunch break, get creative. You showing up here already tells me everything I need to know about you.

I specialize in working with clients navigating identity, relationships, work, and major life transitions. I work best with adults ready for focused, engaged therapy and interested in building greater stability, clarity, and confidence. My approach is structured, collaborative, and active. Sessions require a private, distraction-free space (no driving or being driven), and I work with clients who are prepared to show up consistently and participate actively in the process. In addition to my behavioral health qualifications, I have formal business school training and certification in Human Resources Management, which gives me an additional perspective on career, workplace, leadership, and employment-related concerns that often intersect with men’s identity and well-being.

I work with individuals who want to feel more confident, grounded, and fulfilled in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling anxious, stuck, or unsure of how to cope with ongoing stress, relationship struggles, or self-doubt. They’re often caring and capable people who appear to have it together on the outside but feel overwhelmed or disconnected on the inside. My goal is to provide a safe, supportive space where you can explore what’s getting in the way of feeling your best. Together, we’ll work on building coping tools, improving self-esteem, and creating more balanced, authentic relationships. I take a collaborative approach—one that combines compassion with practical strategies—to help you better understand your emotions, break unhelpful patterns, and make lasting change. Therapy with me often involves strengthening emotional awareness, identifying core beliefs, and learning new ways to respond to challenges. Whether you’re struggling with anxiety, perfectionism, people-pleasing, or simply feeling “not enough,” our work focuses on helping you reconnect with your sense of worth and agency. Relationships are a central part of healing, both with others and with yourself. In our sessions, we’ll explore communication, boundaries, and self-trust, helping you develop skills that support healthier, more fulfilling connections. I also integrate mindfulness and cognitive-behavioral strategies to help you stay present, manage stress, and build resilience. Ultimately, I believe therapy is a process of self-discovery—one that helps you move from surviving to truly living. My goal is for you to leave each session feeling understood, empowered, and equipped with the tools you need to navigate life with greater confidence and clarity.

I’m a licensed psychotherapist working with adults who may appear high-functioning on the outside but feel anxious, overwhelmed, or emotionally unsettled beneath the surface. Many of the individuals I work with are navigating relationship challenges, life transitions, self-doubt, or persistent patterns they can’t quite untangle on their own. My style is thoughtful, steady, and insight-oriented. I integrate practical tools for emotional regulation with deeper exploration of relational patterns and attachment dynamics. I believe therapy should feel both grounding and meaningful — a place where you can slow down, understand yourself more clearly, and begin shifting patterns that no longer serve you. Clients often describe me as calm, direct, and attuned. I aim to create a space that feels safe enough for honesty and structured enough for real change. My work focuses not only on reducing symptoms, but on building emotional clarity, stability, and more secure ways of relating — to others and to yourself. Just book a session and show up. Leap and the net will appear! A little more about me: I'm a Minnesota native currently living in Florida. Hello, I'm Maggie Lo, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and founder of Harbour Mind Psychotherapy. I work with adults who struggle with anxiety, perfectionism, self-doubt, people-pleasing, and relationship challenges. Many of my clients grew up in emotionally unpredictable, critical, or invalidating environments and find themselves carrying patterns that once helped them cope but no longer serve them. My approach is warm, collaborative, and insight-oriented. My work focuses on helping clients understand how past experiences continue to shape the present, develop greater self-trust, and build healthier relationships. I believe meaningful therapy requires time, attention, and a deep understanding of each person's unique story, which is why I intentionally maintain a limited caseload to provide personalized care. Whether you are feeling overwhelmed, stuck in recurring patterns, or simply seeking a deeper understanding of yourself, therapy can be a space to slow down, reflect, and create lasting change. My practice is intentionally designed with a limited number of client slots to help ensure I can provide thoughtful, attentive care while maintaining the mental space needed to fully support each client. Many of the people I work with are thoughtful, capable adults who have spent years taking care of everyone else while quietly struggling themselves. They often appear successful on the outside but privately feel anxious, emotionally exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from who they used to be. You may be recovering from betrayal, navigating a difficult relationship or divorce, struggling with perfectionism or people-pleasing, healing from trauma, or facing a major life transition. Somewhere along the way, you may have begun second-guessing yourself, losing confidence in your instincts, or wondering why life feels so much harder than it looks from the outside. My approach is warm, practical, and collaborative. Together, we'll make sense of the patterns keeping you stuck, calm your nervous system, reduce shame, strengthen healthy boundaries, and build the confidence to make choices that align with your values instead of fear or self-doubt. Therapy should leave you feeling understood, supported, and equipped with practical tools that make everyday life feel lighter.
