Hi, my name is Analilia but you can call me Ana. Are you struggling with anxieties over major life changes.? Have you thought of doing therapy in the past but stopped yourself? Seeking a therapist can be a daunting task and it can be difficult finding the right fit. The connection between therapist and client is so important to help create a safe place to share thoughts and emotions. My goal is to make the safe connection and walk with you on your journey of self-discovery and healing. I understand the vulnerability it takes to drop the mask or perfectionism and just be who you really are. I also understand the freedom it brings when we get to finally do it. I work with my client to help them find their unique voice and to heal their past wounds to help them gain insight and self-awareness. My approach to therapy is tailored to a style which best suites you. I am trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Experiential therapy, EMDR and Person-Centered approach. I support my clients who struggle with anxiety, depression, self-esteem, relationship issues,, trauma experiences, substance use issues and codependency. I focus on helping my clients feel empowered to live the life they want, to feel free to make decisions that make them happy and to learn to love and honor themselves. If you feel I may be the right fit for you please contact me. I offer therapy services in English and Spanish, in person and/or via telehealth.
In the first session is a getting to know you phase. I will conduct a biopsychosocial assessment, which is an assessment that ask about different aspect of your life to get a full picture of who you are and issues you may be dealing with. I will also provide a diagnosis and we will collaboratively work on a treatment plan to reach your therapy goals.
I think my strength as a provider is I show up authentically and am not afraid to have difficult conversations. What that means is I am compassionate, caring and direct. I live by say what you mean, mean what you say, but don't say it mean. I will work hard at creating an environment you feel safe in and provide a place that is judgement free.

I use CBT to address the negative critical voice we all have inside of us. CBT helps address the root cause of these negative thoughts and I help you learn to challenge this voice with positive reality based thoughts. My experience with CBT is that it helps you learn how to decrease the intensity of anxious or depressed feelings and increase your ability to be kinder to yourself.
I have been trained in EMDR since 2021. My experience in using EMDR with clients who have experienced trauma has been positive. It helps clients reprocess the traumatic experience without having to go over every horrible aspect of the experience out loud. I can do EMDR in person or online. I have used this with several of my clients with great success.
I love to use an experiential approach especially with client's who "get stuck in their own head". An experiential approach helps by doing things that are more hands on and creative pushing you out of the head and into your body. My experience with the experiential approach is that it helps you to stop thinking of the perfect or right response and gets you to a more authentic place of truth and feeling.
