Welcome — I’m glad you’re here. I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who specializes in helping individuals and couples navigate life's challenges with greater clarity, confidence, and self-compassion. Whether you're struggling with anxiety, depression, relationship difficulties, grief, trauma, life transitions, or feeling emotionally overwhelmed, I provide a supportive and collaborative space where you can feel heard, understood, and empowered. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and tailored to your unique needs. Together, we'll explore what's keeping you stuck, build on your strengths, and develop practical tools to help you create meaningful, lasting change. My goal is to help you move beyond simply coping and toward living a more connected, fulfilling life.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

First session jitters? A first session with me is easygoing, warm, and judgment-free. I bring a calm, friendly energy that helps people feel at ease quickly. We’ll talk about what brings you in, what you hope to change, and how we can work together to support your goals and your unique journey.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my greatest strengths as a therapist is my ability to create a space where clients feel genuinely heard, understood, and accepted. I believe that meaningful change happens when people feel safe enough to be honest about their struggles without fear of judgment. I combine compassion with practical, evidence-based strategies to help clients gain insight, build resilience, and make lasting changes. I strive to balance support and accountability, helping clients explore difficult emotions while also developing concrete tools they can use in their daily lives. My approach is collaborative, authentic, and tailored to each person's unique experiences, strengths, and goals. Whether I am working with individuals or couples, I focus on helping clients better understand themselves, improve communication, strengthen relationships, and move toward the life they want to create.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

Am I right for you? I work best with adults, older adolescents, and couples who are ready to better understand themselves, improve their relationships, and create meaningful change in their lives. Many of my clients come to therapy feeling overwhelmed by anxiety, stress, depression, grief, life transitions, relationship challenges, low self-esteem, or the effects of past experiences that continue to impact their present. I am particularly passionate about helping individuals navigate trauma, relationship concerns, communication difficulties, boundaries, self-worth, and major life changes. I also enjoy working with couples who want to strengthen their connection, rebuild trust, improve communication, or navigate conflict in a healthier way. My ideal clients do not need to have all the answers before starting therapy. They simply need a willingness to be curious, open to growth, and committed to taking small steps toward the life and relationships they want to create. Whether you are seeking support through a difficult season or looking to better understand yourself, I strive to provide a safe and supportive environment where healing and growth can occur.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is an evidence-based approach that helps you understand the connection between your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors. Together, we'll identify unhelpful thinking patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, depression, stress, or relationship challenges and develop practical strategies to create healthier, more balanced responses. CBT is goal-oriented, collaborative, and focused on helping you build skills you can use in everyday life to feel more confident, resilient, and in control.

Acceptance and commitment (ACT)

Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) helps you accept difficult thoughts and feelings while focusing on actions that align with your values. This approach builds resilience, flexibility, and confidence in navigating life's challenges.

Couples Counseling

Couples Counseling helps partners improve communication, strengthen connection, and navigate challenges in a healthy, productive way. Together, we'll work to build understanding, resolve conflicts, and create a stronger, more fulfilling relationship.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) helps individuals and couples understand the emotions and attachment patterns that influence their relationships. This approach strengthens emotional connection, improves communication, and helps create more secure and satisfying relationships.

Grief Therapy

Grief Therapy offers support in navigating the emotions and challenges that come with loss. Together, we'll process your experience, build coping skills, and work toward healing while honoring what has been lost.
