I love being horribly straightforward with my clients. Coming to therapy can be uncomfortable, but the pay-offs are often life-changing. My passion is to help clients experience healing, balance, peace, and empowerment using holistic and integrative psychotherapy. Realizing that everyone’s mental health needs are unique, I specialize in providing tailored treatment plans that incorporate the latest evidence-based treatment methods with your specific objectives in seeking counseling. I am committed to working with you to see the results you wish to achieve in therapy. Besides my graduate studies, I have additional training/focus on anxiety, depression, and trauma based therapies and I use a variety of interventions to meet your personal needs/issues. I have also focused my post-graduate studies on positive psychology, holistic methods, and integrated therapies. Use me!! What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

Clients can expect to receive compassion and empathy from me but they can also expect to get started using the plans and tools we work on together to start making the changes they want to experience to meet their goals. While I want to hear your story, it is so important, I am even more passionate about getting you started healing, growing, and living a full, satisfying life by providing you the information, tools, and support to move forward.

What treatment methods and tools do you utilize?

I use a several interventions methods derived from different viewpoints of psychological health and well-being. First and foremost, developing a trusting therapeutic relationship is a key element in success in therapy. I lean towards interventions that are strength-based and help clients develop sustainable well-being. These include, but are not limited to, interventions in positive psychology, mindfulness, solution-focused interventions, cognitive behavioral therapy, trauma-informed treatments. Specific tools might include relaxation and mindfulness exercises, identity exploration and character strength development, guided visualization, hypnotherapy, cognitive behavior exercises, collaboration and exploration using worksheets, suggested reading/books, and discussion.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I strive to provide clients with creative, personal, and effective treatments that address clients treatment objectives. I offer broad insights into several psychological theories to provide clients with options for healing, growth, and greater well-being. Many methods I suggest to clients not only provide symptom relief but can be incorporated into life-long practices to maintain the gains made in therapy. I also enjoy exploring with clients additional objectives to open up more possibilities for clients towards their personal development and future goals.
