Hi, I’m Melissa — deeply devoted social justice warrior and mental health advocate. I believe we are already whole, even in the mess, and that therapy isn’t about fixing or taking parts of you away — it’s about curiosity, self-acceptance, and learning how to move through life with authenticity and self-compassion.
I bring both lived experience and heart into the therapy space, especially for those who’ve spent a lifetime feeling “too much,” “not enough,” or out of place. Together, we make room for all your parts, get curious about your inner world, and figure out ways of living that actually work for you.
I show up with warmth, humor, and deep care, and I love helping people reconnect with their own magic, trust themselves more fully, and create lives that feel more spacious, aligned, and truly theirs. You don’t need to be fixed — you get to be understood.

I often support clients in understanding patterns, managing anxiety and stress, navigating life transitions, improving relationships, and building confidence in themselves. My style is compassionate and direct, with a focus on helping clients feel more grounded, capable, and connected to the life they want to create.
Hi! I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) based in California. I received my masters in clinical mental health counseling from California State University, Fullerton( go Titans!). I have practiced therapy for the past 7 years. I am a proud queer and gender diverse therapist that has experience working with anxiety, depression, stress, trauma, and life transitions. If you’re feeling stuck, overwhelmed, or disconnected—whether from past trauma, grief, or relationship challenges—you’re not alone, and change is possible.
I specialize in working with adolescents, young adults, and adults navigating trauma, abuse, and loss. Many of the patterns that feel difficult today once helped you cope or stay safe. In therapy, we’ll work to understand those patterns, build tools for regulation, and create space for healing and growth.
My approach is warm, collaborative, and tailored to you. I use evidence-based practices including EMDR and somatic therapy to help process difficult experiences and support nervous system regulation—so you can feel more grounded, connected, and in control.
I bring both professional training and real-life experience, with a background in service, legal, educational, and nonprofit settings.
At a young age, I came to the United States from Pakistan through an arranged marriage. My experience as a young woman fresh to this country inspired my journey to making a difference in the community through activism and therapy. I went through my own therapeutic journey and now am excited to help my clients empower themselves in their narrative paths.

I have always been interested in helping people, I enjoy hearing people’s stories, and I also find that in the therapeutic process I learn more about myself. Through my therapy journey I have gained much experience in working with diverse people. I'm glad you are moving towards living a more fulfilling and happier life. I am here to support you so you can empower yourself on your journey of transformation.

Specifically, I engage wounded individuals who feel ready to confront the traumas and problems that get in the way of living their best lives.
Through a non-judgmental, client-centered approach, I help find answers about your functioning and relationships. Specifically, I utilize body-based interventions to link your past experiences to present-day struggles to treat severe mood disorders, substance abuse and PTSD/trauma in children and adults. Struggling to overcome what life throws at you? I believe everyone deserves a safe and non-judgmental space that can help them move beyond the difficulties that anxiety, depression, or heaviness of past traumas can bring. I am a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who understands that therapy is a holistic approach that takes the whole individual and their environment into consideration. I know firsthand how exhausting it can be when anxiety, depression, or PTSD weigh down your daily life. My focus is on helping teens and adults not just cope, but truly heal. To do this, my approach is heavily grounded in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness-Based Cognitive Therapy, and existential approaches. Throughout our sessions, we will build the practical everyday skills you need to reclaim your energy and create a life to be truly excited about.
All things are interconnected. To feel better, you have to act better. To feel better, you have to think better. To think better, you have to feel better. To act better, you have to think better. To think, feel, and act better, you have to care for your physical health. To care for your physical health, you have to think, feel, and act better. Each has a corresponding effect on the other. However, the aspect of ourselves that we have the most direct control of is what we do, our acting. While we can influence other people, we cannot control other people. A great source of conflict and unhappiness results from our efforts to control others. If you want better relationships, the only thing we can control is what we do, how we choose to relate. We are responsible for what we do. Others are responsible for what they do. Accepting this fundamental reality and thinking, feeling, and acting in accordance with it is how we increase our experience of power, freedom, belonging, meaning and, very importantly, fun.
My professional experience includes over 30 years of post-Master’s clinical work, including leadership experience in foster care, chemical abuse and addiction, inpatient and outpatient mental health services, and crisis intervention, de-escalation, and hospitalization. I have worked extensively with youth and families, diverse populations and life issues, providing services in various settings, including family homes, schools, juvenile detention facilities, jails, outpatient clinics, and inpatient psychiatric facilities.

I work with individuals navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, relationship concerns, and life transitions. My approach is warm, nonjudgmental, and grounded in evidence-based practices, including solution-focused and strengths-based interventions. I aim to help clients feel understood while also empowering them to identify goals, develop insight, and take practical steps toward improved emotional well-being and resilience.

I am a licensed therapist (LMFT #140975, LPCC #17040), Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, and Certified Brain Injury Specialist.
I believe healing can take place when all parts of the self are welcome to sit at the table. As a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner, I help clients understand and work directly with their nervous system, building resilience and a felt sense of safety that supports deeper emotional and relational work. This approach can help people dealing with a variety of things such as relationships, complex trauma, PTSD, ADHD, mild to moderate Traumatic Brain Injury, life transitions, optimization of strengths, increasing tolerance for ease/presence, chronic stress, self-image concerns, anxiety, depression, pain management, and more.
I also bring a deep understanding of brain-based differences, including the impacts of trauma and cognitive diversity on the sense of self and relationships. I approach this with a strengths-based, neuro-affirming lens. Rather than viewing individual differences as deficits or damage, I honor the adaptive intelligence of the brain and the ways it reorganizes in response to experience. My goal is not to “fix" neurodivergence, but to help individuals build self-understanding and make space for changes that are important to them.
My work is marked by the integration of mind and body. Therapy with me is not about eliminating parts of you. It is about helping all parts feel heard, understood, and organized in a way that allows you to move forward with greater clarity and an embodied sense of peace.
Starting therapy can feel like a big step—especially if you’re not totally sure what to say or where to begin. My job is to make that part easier.
I’m a licensed therapist who works with people dealing with stress, anxiety, relationship issues, burnout, low motivation, and feeling stuck or overwhelmed. Some clients come in with something specific going on, while others just know something feels off and want to figure it out. Both are completely welcome here.
In our work together, we focus on what’s actually happening in your day-to-day life and how to create real, noticeable changes—not just talk in circles. I aim to keep sessions practical, collaborative, and grounded so you leave with clarity and a better sense of direction.
Clients often tell me they appreciate having a space where they can be honest without feeling judged or analyzed. You don’t need to have the “right words” or a clear plan before starting—we’ll figure that out together.
If you’re looking for therapy that feels straightforward, supportive, and focused on helping you move forward, I’d be glad to work with you.
Hello and Welcome! I’m grateful you’re here and choosing to prioritize yourself, even if it didn’t feel easy to take this step. A little bit about me: I’m a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with 16 years of clinical experience working with people across a wide range of life challenges from anxiety, depression, and chronic stress to relationship struggles, health issues, chronic illness or pain, life transitions, parenting pressures, and trauma recovery. I’ve supported clients in individual, couples, family, and group settings. Many of the clients I work with are used to being the strong one, the one that holds everything together for everyone else... but who don’t often have space to tend to their own needs.
In our work together, we’ll slow things down enough to understand what’s been weighing on you and why sometimes it feels so hard to move forward. Therapy with me is practical, supportive, and focused on helping you feel more grounded, steady, and confident in your day-to-day life. We’ll work on quieting the critical inner voice, easing anxiety and stress, and creating space for choices that feel more aligned with who you are and what you need right now.
If you’re ready for support that feels warm, thoughtful, and real... and a place where you don’t have to hold everything together... I’d be honored to walk alongside you :)

Hola! Bienvenida/o.
I have been practicing for almost a decade in various settings, including private practice, foster care, adoption, and community agencies. I am certified in Applied Gerontology which helped me to understand better the biological, psychological, and sociological processes of older adult maturation and aging. My experience has given me the privilege to understand every individual at whatever stage in their life they are currently at.
I am trained in evidence-based methods but my approach is to look at the individual's strengths. I help them look for solutions rather than be stuck in problem mode. I believe therapy is not a "one size fits all" approach but personalized care that will fit your needs.
Hello! My name is Pa. I am an individual, mother, wife, daughter, and a Hmong-American woman. I became a psychotherapist because I grew up witnessing how mental health is often dismissed in diverse ethnic communities. I saw how generational trauma affects our minds, bodies, and souls. These experiences fueled my passion to become a therapist who can connect and support individuals with diverse backgrounds. I specialize in working with individuals who struggle with anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions. I take a client-centered approach where I tailor our sessions to address your needs and goals. I provide a safe and supportive space for you to just be yourself. Together, we will identify and set goals that address your needs and concerns. We can also adjust and change goals as needed to adapt to the evolution of your journey.
Hi, I am Cheyenne, an LCSW who believes therapy doesn't have to feel stiff or clinical to be effective. With several years of experience supporting youth, parents and families, I help clients navigate trauma, maternal mental health challenges, ADHD, anxiety and the often overwhelming stress of everyday life. If you're in the thick of parenting, navigating your teen years or simply feeling stretched too thin, you don't have to figure it out alone.
Hello, and thank you for taking the time to invest in your mental health. Are you having a hard time balancing family, work, and life? Are you struggling with avoidance and anxiety about the future? Are you just ready for a change and aren't sure how to make a plan of action? It's difficult to grow without support and even harder at times to find the tools to carve your own path. If you feel ready to explore how to reach your unique potential; let's figure out some goals, what's in the way, and how we can work through those challenges so you can reach your goals.
My background in research, crisis care, inpatient, partial hospitalization, intensive outpatient, in-home therapy, group therapy and outpatient therapy has given me exposure to several forms of therapy. I am currently practicing CBT, DBT, ACT and some elements of other forms of therapy.
If you are curious how we could approach your challenges and goals, please reach out and we can discuss options. Consultations are welcomed.
I’m Tyler Dawnee Young, LCSW, with over a decade of experience in mental health and healthcare settings. I work with high-achieving women who are thoughtful, self-aware, and often overwhelmed beneath the surface. My approach is relational, insight-driven, and collaborative, focused on helping clients feel understood, make sense of long-standing patterns, and create meaningful, lasting change. I believe therapy works best when the relationship feels right and when clients are willing to engage actively in the process—not just in session, but in their everyday lives as well.
Hi, I’m Charles Yin, I work with men and women who struggle with depression, anxiety, and self-sabotaging patterns. This prevents them from feeling connected to themselves and others and from reaching their full potential. I firmly believe everyone can live a meaningful and fulfilling life. After working with clients for over 16 years, I understand the difficulties of finding your path in life and use my expertise to help you overcome these challenges.
How do I help you? There are 3 key ingredients: I utilize Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), which helps you become friends with your difficult thoughts and feelings and make wise choices even when it's hard. I help you connect deeply with the real you and develop a sense of belonging with others. I help you get out of your mind and into your life and develop skills to unhook from difficult thoughts and feelings, stay present and do what matters.
I run Unscripted Therapy, a practice focused on helping people break out of stuck patters.
I work with individuals who are tired of having the same conversations and somehow ending up right back where they started. Whether it’s anxiety, stress, or relationship patterns that keep repeating, something isn’t working—and at this point, that’s pretty clear.
My approach is direct, collaborative, and focused on actually changing what’s not working. I’m not going to just sit there nodding while you vent and then ask how that made you feel for the tenth time. We’ll figure out what’s keeping you stuck and start doing something different about it.
Therapy with me is honest, practical, and yes—sometimes a little blunt. But it’s also real. If you’re looking for something that actually helps you move forward (not just talk about why you’re stuck), we’ll probably be a good fit.
I provide a supportive, collaborative space for individuals seeking meaningful and lasting change. I understand that starting therapy can feel overwhelming and I want to acknowledge the courage it takes to take that first step. My approach is grounded in empathy, authenticity, and respect, with a strong belief that each person has the capacity for growth when given the right environment and tools.
I take an integrative approach to treatment, drawing from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Solution-Focused Brief Therapy, and person-centered principles. This allows me to tailor each session to your unique needs, balancing emotional support with practical strategies you can use in your daily life. Together, we will explore patterns in your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while identifying clear, achievable steps toward your goals and creating space to re-author personal narratives and foster lasting change.
I work well with both teens and adults who may be feeling overwhelmed, stressed, or stuck, particularly those navigating anxiety, depression, substance use, trauma, complex relationships, or major life transitions. Many of my clients are highly capable but struggling with burnout, boundary-setting, or feeling pulled in multiple directions. I also provide an affirming, inclusive, and judgment-free space for individuals within the LGBTQ community to explore identity, relationships, and life experiences safely and authentically.
My goal is to help you feel more in control, more aligned with your values, and better equipped to handle life’s challenges. Therapy with me is both a place to be understood and a place to grow. I welcome you to reach out for a consultation so we can explore how I can support you.
Hello! I’m Deonia Young, a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in California, Georgia, and Alabama. I have six years of clinical experience and 30 years as a social worker. I am passionate about walking alongside women as they navigate life transitions, stress, and emotional challenges. I am also passionate about supporting women of color, creating a safe and affirming space for healing and growth.
When desired, I integrate evidence-based practices with a biblical perspective to support restoration, resilience, and hope.
As human beings, our experiences are unique to us. We experience and view the world from our lens, which impacts how we perceive ourselves and others. Unfortunately, because we are all unique, people around us also develop perceptions about us which may not be an accurate representation of who we are or our true intentions. Sometimes, our perceptions lead to miscommunication and misconceptions; thereby impacting our ability to connect and develop healthy relationships. Typically, perceptions are based on our experiences and our experiences are not always favorable or pleasant. Occasionally, our experiences are traumatic and abusive. For some, trauma and abuse occur so regularly that it becomes the norm and ultimately impacts social, interpersonal, and intimate relationships.
Counseling is the process of becoming awakened to our true selves to better understand how our personal experiences influence who we are. Our personal experiences are impacted by our family of origin, racial and cultural/ethnic group, religious beliefs, sexual orientation, socioeconomic status, etc. Because many aspects of one’s life may be explored, including childhood experiences, the process of counseling may feel uncomfortable and intrusive, at times. However, it is important to trust the process and know that every counseling session will not feel good. There are times that as a client, you may feel sad or hurt and become tearful; you may be excited and feel happy; you may be confused and feel hopeless. However, know that in the end, if you trust the process, you will hopefully learn something new about yourself that you never considered. Thus, leading to fulfillment in your life in areas including your relationships and family dynamics that ultimately, enhance your self-worth.
