About me

Starting therapy can feel like a big step, I congratulate you on starting your journey. I am a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist who specializes in working with individuals who have anxiety, depression, trauma and difficulty with life transitions. Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

I work with clients from all walks of life—individuals and couples in a myriad of life circumstances. I am direct yet mindful of how words influence your ability to accept change. I help you process changes in a positive environment with adequate affirmation and validation. I believe therapy is a collaborative process where you are the expert on your life, and I bring tools, perspective, and support to help you reach your goals. Whether you’re here to improve relationships, manage stress, or navigate a major life transition, we’ll work together to create meaningful and sustainable change.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

I help clients navigate anxiety, depression, trauma and life changes with curiosity and compassion. My goal is to use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Motivational Interviewing. Dialectic Behavioral Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy to help you feel more grounded, confident, and connected—to yourself and the life you want to create.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

An ideal client is: someone motivated, self-aware, and actively willing to engage in the vulnerable and challenging work of personal growth, willing to share inner thoughts, reflect on difficult feedback, and tolerate uncomfortable emotions, shows up to sessions regularly, respects boundaries, and communicates openly about scheduling or progress and takes personal responsibility for their role in relationships and patterns, rather than solely focusing on blaming external forces.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is a practical, short-term talk therapy. It teaches you how your thoughts, feelings, and actions connect. By changing negative thought patterns, you can change how you feel and act.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) is a structured type of talk therapy based on cognitive behavioral therapy. It helps people who feel emotions very intensely, struggle with self-harm, or experience chronic emotion dysregulation. It teaches a balance between radical acceptance of life and active behavioral change.

Motivational Interviewing

Motivational interviewing is a collaborative, goal-oriented counseling style. It helps people resolve mixed feelings (ambivalence) so they can find their own inner drive to make positive life changes. Instead of telling someone what to do, the therapist uses empathy and active listening to empower them.

Solution Focused Brief Treatment

Solution-Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) is a short-term, goal-directed therapy. It looks forward at future hopes and solutions rather than digging into past problems. The client is viewed as the expert, and the work usually lasts just 5 to 8 sessions
