Hello! I'm a focused, inspired, compassionate, curious, solution-oriented, somatic, holistic, client-centered therapist. Providing the kind of support, understanding, and insights that give my clients the hope, motivation, and aha moments to elevate their self experience and personal healing to the next level. This is how I aim to provide the best and most consistent service to each person I have the privilege to meet.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session we will start with a brief introduction and then dive into the specific challenges you're facing. This will begin the process of creating a tailored plan for you in our future sessions.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My experience of having worked extensively in bereavement and family counseling at Hospice has created in me a vast resource of reliable coping, resilience, and therapeutic skills for many different issues. My knowledge of holistic natural mindfulness practices brings an element of profound peace, inspired hope, and potential joy to our work together as well.

My treatment methods

Grief Therapy

My extensive experience in Hospice as a bereavement counselor gave me valuable insights, therapeutic skills, and coping mechanisms for a wide array of symptoms. Proven methods to support individuals into higher functioning, healing, and increased peace of mind as they move through and experience grief, loss, major life changes, and adjustment issues.

Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT)

EFT is based on the premise that human emotions are connected to human needs, therefore have an innately adaptive potential, that if activated and worked through can help people change problematic emotional states and interpersonal relationships.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

My 20 plus years as a yoga instructor is a foundational source to implement somatic body integration along with mindfulness techniques. Somatic attention helps to bring someone into relaxation and awareness, that allows for a present moment experience which reduces anxiety and depression.

Strength-Based

Often in identifying peoples strengths and reframing so called weaknesses, within this process can positively impact people to use their personal traits in new, relatable, positive, and innovative ways.

Child Parent Psychotherapy

I've been schooled in the art of positive discipline and find these techniques to be highly effective, safe, necessary along with life changing to the parent/child relationship. As a stay at home mom for the primary early years of my children's lives I studied extensively in the areas of mindful parenting, ADHD, and working with spirited children.
