Hello and welcome. First of all, I would like to congratulate you on your courage to take the first step in selecting a therapist. The thought of sharing intimate thoughts, struggles, and personal experiences can be overwhelming and frightening. I hope to help you feel confident that you have come to the right place to express your needs and work on feeling better. I am a Licensed Marriage Family Therapist (LMFT) from California. I have over 12 years experience in providing services to children, adolescents, adults, couples, and families struggling with depression, anxiety, grief, relationship issues, trauma, and other challenges.
I have had the pleasure of working in various settings. For about seven years, I worked at a community mental health agency treating children, adolescents, adults, and families with a variety of needs especially those who have experienced trauma. I have found that each individual comes with their unique story and background.
My first experience using telehealth was during the pandemic. With the increase of mental health needs, I discovered the importance of being able to provide services through the telehealth platform. It inspired me to continue to reach those clients who desire telehealth for various reasons. Life can be busy with schedules and finding time for therapy is not always easy. Telehealth can make therapy a little easier.
It's easy to overlook our need for self-care when we're busy taking care of other aspects of our lives. Our priorities often revolve around work and our family's well-being, leaving us at the bottom of our list. My aim is to encourage self-determination through therapy. During our therapeutic relationship, we will work together to achieve your goals and find new ways to overcome obstacles and crises. We'll collaborate on identifying your strengths, as it's important to recognize how your current mindset and decisions are impacting the challenges you face in life.
Welcome, dear visitor! 😊

Using a compassionate, trauma-informed approach, I provide a safe and supportive space where you can process painful experiences without judgment, develop practical coping skills, and build greater emotional resilience. Together, we will work to help you feel more grounded, strengthen your confidence, improve your relationships, and create a life that feels more balanced, meaningful, and aligned with your values. My goal is not only to help you manage symptoms but to support lasting healing and personal growth.
Hello, I'm Sheena.

I help individuals, families, and couples manage the demands and challenges that life brings. Together, we will identify the causes of your challenges and develop solutions to empower yourself to find life balance. You should have a safe space to openly discuss your thoughts and feelings. Treatment should not be cookie-cutter but individualized to your needs, which is focused on in our sessions. Change is a scary concept in our lives, but it is easier when you have someone with you along the journey. I'll meet you with empathy, compassion, honesty, and evidence-based techniques to allow you to work toward the goals you want for yourself. Let's go on this journey together!

I am a therapist that believes in therapy works best when people feel heard, respected, and understood—not judged. My goal is to create a comfortable environment where clients can openly discuss life's challenges while building the skills and confidence needed to create meaningful, lasting change. I strive to meet clients where they are, recognizing that every person's story, experiences, and goals are unique. As a veteran and psychotherapist, I bring a calm, grounded, and solution-focused perspective to my work. My experiences continue to shape my therapeutic style by helping me provide steady support while maintaining empathy and genuine compassion for the people I serve.
"Healing may not be so much about getting better, as about letting go of everything that isn't you – all of the expectations, all of the beliefs – and becoming who you are."

Hi! I'm Dr. Chelsea Acker, a licensed clinical psychologist with expertise working with children and adolescents. I'm experienced with a range of concerns, but I have specialized training in treating trauma, suicidality, and early psychosis.
In 2019, I graduated from the PAU-Stanford PsyD Consortium, where I trained at the Stanford School of Medicine's psychiatry department and Lucile Packard Children's Hospital's program at a local high school. I attended internship (our version of residency, more or less) at the UC Davis Medical Center, where I received world-class training in the treatment of childhood trauma and early psychosis, both separately and together. I then completed a post-doctoral fellowship at the Chicago Child Trauma Center, where I continued to build my expertise in the treatment of childhood trauma. After that, I worked at Kaiser Permanente, Oakland, for two and a half years, where I specialized in working with children and adolescents with complex, persistent symptom presentations, who had often been hospitalized multiple times for safety concerns and struggled to make progress with previous therapists.
Hello, my name is Jennifer, and I am a Marriage and Family Therapist. Over the past 17+ years I have predominately worked with children and adolescents and their families. I specialize in working with this population. My goal is not to just treat the child, but also to equip the parents to be able to help their child in the home. My goal is "parent as therapist." While I love my time each week with my client, the parents are the ones doing the real work in the home. As a parent, I know that one of the most difficult feelings is seeing your child struggling and not knowing how to help. My goal is to help the child while also training up the parents to heal the entire family. My preferred methods of treatment are CBT and PCIT as I believe they offer tools to help families quickly and effectively.
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker and the founder of OSUN Family Healing Services, an African-centered mental health initiative dedicated to healing Black women and girls. I am building a space that moves beyond traditional therapy into collective healing, self-awareness, and liberation. My purpose is to help rebuild individuals, families, and communities through culturally grounded, intentional care.

It could be that you are a part of a newly formed blended family, living together for the first time, and instead of joy you are experiencing chaos. You may be seeking help, because your spouse has received orders for yet another deployment with the military. Having to say goodbye once again, leaves you feeling frustrated, anxious and sad. Often people come to therapy due to grief and loss.

Starting therapy can feel like a big step my approach is all about making the process feel comfortable, supportive, and down-to-earth—like a real conversation, not a clinical checklist.

I bring a warm, relaxed, and non-judgmental energy to every session, and my goal is to create a space where you can be your full self—laugh, cry, vent, reflect, explore… whatever you need, it's all welcome.
I've had the privilege of working with kids, teens, and adults, and I understand that each stage of life comes with its own ups, downs, and curveballs. No matter where you are on your journey, we’ll start there—no pressure, no pretense. Just real talk and real support.
Hi there! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in California, and I have over a decade of experience supporting individuals through life's challenges. My passion is helping people from diverse backgrounds manage anxiety, depression, and significant life transitions. I believe in creating a safe and welcoming space where your unique cultural context is respected and valued. Together, we'll work on strategies that foster personal growth, emotional resilience, and overall well-being, ensuring that our approach is always aligned with your evolving needs and goals. Sometimes, as adults, we discover that our ability to make decisions; to love someone; to accept the love of another; to feel peace and inner calm; to find the motivation to accomplish goals; to forgive a betrayal; and to experience self-acceptance and confidence can feel limited, creating distress and discomfort. Thus begins the journey of an examined life. When you explore how you operate, what influences your choices, and what has contributed to your experiences, you begin the process of enriching your internal resources. This expansion of resources broadens your choices and options in life and holds the potential for higher functioning and greater happiness.
As a therapist, I provide a safe, comfortable, and nonjudgmental environment. I am easy to talk to, interactive, respectfully direct, and mindful of diverse cultures, backgrounds, and sexual orientations. I work collaboratively with my clients to set goals and utilize each individual’s strengths and resources, supporting the discovery of an authentic self that experiences life in a richer and more satisfying way.

Through humor, patience, empathy, and respect I will assist you ensuring you hold yourself up even when you feel the mental scandal is too much.
Couples: I am TAKING Couples again. However only on Cash Pay basis. This is how it will work: You can schedule with me an hour consultation, you don't both have to be present, for this Consultation. From there we will meet 5 to 6 times for 1.5 hour sessions. It is very difficult to have Couples sessions within 60 min. The Cash pay is $250.00 for the 1.5 hour sessions. I understand the cost can be a deterrent in seeking help, however if you are both committed to doing the work 5 to 6 sessions should be productive and enough to see changes.
Individuals: Of course I am still taking individuals that are or are not in a relationship and need help. We were never taught how to be in a relationship of any kind. Yes there are tons of books of how to, however to put them to practical use can be very difficult. This can also relate to a relationship with a family member, friends or co-workers.
Sometimes our own mental health can influence all of our relationships, and you may need coping techniques for anxiety and or depression type symptoms. I will work with you individually to help you gain insight to your own behavior that may be influencing your relationship.
I am here to help with coping strategies for anxiety and depression symptoms or learning how to communicate more effectively with others.
