Hi there, I'm Alanna! My name is Alanna Walker, and I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) based in Las Vegas, Nevada. Currently, I provide telehealth services for clients in California. I also provided in-person and telehealth services for clients in Nevada. I am certified in dialectical behavioral therapy and domestic violence. I also have training in substance use disorder and addiction.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

During the first session, clients can expect to explore their reasons for seeking therapy. Clients will have a warm, open, nonjudgemental, supportative and safe space to begin their journey of healing.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My approach to goal setting is to set realistic and obtainable goals. I believe that it is important to work as a team with my client to identify their goals for therapy and develop a plan that fits their needs. Once the client's goals for treatment are set, I will encourage and support them to work towards obtaining their goals in treatment.
