Hi, I am a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), I received my masters degree in community counseling and my undergraduate degree in family and child development from the University of Akron. I have been practicing for over 20 years in family and individual therapy. Currently I work as an individual therapist helping those who are in need of help managing symptoms of anxiety, AD/HD, depression, life transitions as well as general help with coping skills. I focus on evidenced based techniques to help you achieve your goals of treatment with my main goal of meeting you where you are in your journey.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

My goal as your therapist is to support and help guide you in navigating solutions to struggles that you are facing. I am here to listen and explore options that will work best for you in a safe and open place. I have various tools and techniques to offer as your therapist but you will guide what will work best for you and your life. I offer a safe environment to explore your thoughts and feelings and how to manage these. As your therapist I will honor your comfort level in the change process.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

Working as a mental health therapist for over 20 years in home based, family settings as well as individual therapy has provided me a wide range of experience and knowledge helping others navigate challenging situations in their lives. Providing a safe, supportive, empathetic environment is my goal. I also provide the room for a client to grow at their pace rather that is needing to be able to approach situations analytically or needing a safe space to express thoughts and feelings.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

We all experience difficult times or situations in our lives. Helping you work through these situations in a way that you need is my ultimate goal. I have worked in a variety of ways with families, adults and adolescents during difficult times. Some of these situations included stress management, anger management, anxiety, life transitions, decision making, depression, Autism Spectrum Disorder and AD/HD.
