New to Grow
Life can be a lot to handle sometimes. I strive to create an environment that is collaborative, welcoming and supportive to create a positive, empowering therapy experience. My unique approach embraces your strengths and experience to assist in the therapeutic process. This is your journey. I will work at your pace providing support as you uncover solutions and develop skills. I have experience working with elders, adults and older teens with a range of issues including adjustment, anger management, anxiety, depression, grief, relaxation, stress management, women’s issues and life transitions. I look forward to being a part of your journey.
In our first session we will get to know each other, explore your desired outcome and your challenges. We will work together to develop a plan that best suits your needs and feels comfortable for you.
My biggest strength is my ability to connect with others. I know that life stressors can be challenging, and I want to provide a space that is safe and collaborative with a sprinkling of humor. My goal is to honor your capacity to heal and grow by nurturing your strengths and allowing the process to take root in your time.
I am dedicated to helping individuals struggling with life transitions, stressors and challenging emotions develop new strategies. I support individuals as they work through their struggles and enrich their lives.
Strengths-based therapy is rooted in positive psychology and emphasizes an individual's strengths, talents, and resources rather than their weaknesses or problems. I work with individuals to recognize their existing strengths and build upon them to promote a more positive mindset. This approach can help individuals develop resilience and coping skills to help handle challenges more effectively.
Mindfulness-Based Therapy helps individuals become aware of the present. I incorporate mindfulness to help individuals reduce stress and anxiety by encouraging non-judgmental thinking. Mindfulness can help regulate emotions and improve well-being.
