I am Dr. Shazia Naurin, a Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor and Supervisor based in Ohio, dedicated to helping individuals navigate life's challenges with compassion, evidence-based care, and cultural sensitivity. I hold national certification as a counselor (NCC), a Certified Clinical Mental Health Counselor (CCMHC), and an Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS). I am trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (C-DBT), and trained in Internal Family System (IFS) enabling me to support clients working through trauma, emotional dysregulation, and deeply rooted patterns. My approach is grounded in authenticity, empowerment, and a deep commitment to helping clients build resilience, heal, and thrive.

I am certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and utilize DBT to help clients learn effective mood management.
EMDR
I am a registered EMDR therapist with EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) for the past five years. I utilize EMDR to help clients heal from complex trauma and PTSD.
Internal Family Systems (IFS)
I am completing level 1 training in Internal Family Systems (IFS) therapy. I practice IFS to help clients heal from trauma related mental health problems.
