Hello! I’m Rahjanni, a licensed clinical social worker and proud Army combat veteran dedicated to serving veterans, first responders, and their families. Having lived through the unique challenges faced by these communities, I understand the importance of having a space where you feel truly seen and supported. My goal is to create a warm and straightforward environment where you can confidently explore your experiences and work toward greater mental and emotional well-being. I bring a blend of personal understanding and professional expertise to guide you in navigating life’s challenges, empowering you to move forward with resilience and hope.
Clients can expect to leave sessions feeling empowered and supported with clear direction. My goal is to help you gain practical tools to navigate challenges, especially those related to trauma. Ultimately, I want you to feel confident in making decisions that work best for you, while knowing you have a partner in your journey.
My approach to therapy is solution-focused and direct, specializing in trauma work using Accelerated Resolution Therapy (ART). I believe therapy is a partnership where you, as the client, determine what works best for you. My role is to offer perspective and challenge your thought process to help you achieve your goals. Together, we focus on finding practical solutions and creating a path forward that aligns with your unique needs and experiences.
In working with clients, I use Solution Focused Brief Therapy (SFBT) to identify their strengths and explore what’s already working in their lives. Together, we focus on small, achievable steps toward their desired outcomes, fostering a sense of progress and empowerment. By emphasizing solutions rather than problems, I help clients maintain hope and build on their existing capabilities to create meaningful change.
In my work with clients, I use Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT) to help them acknowledge and accept difficult emotions and thoughts without judgment. I guide clients in identifying their core values and aligning their actions with those values, fostering a sense of purpose and direction. Through mindfulness techniques and practical exercises, I support clients in developing psychological flexibility, enabling them to navigate challenges with resilience and intention.
