I am a dedicated therapist committed to providing a safe and supportive space for you to explore your thoughts and feelings. Using proven methods such as CBT and EMDR, I will collaborate with you to develop personalized strategies for overcoming your challenges, promoting personal growth, and achieving your goals. Together, we'll work towards creating lasting positive change in your life.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In your first session you can expect a welcoming and supportive environment. We'll begin by getting to know each other and I will ask you questions about what brings you to therapy, your challenges, and your goals for therapy. We will also discuss any questions or concerns you may have about the therapy process. It's important to remember that the first session is primarily about gathering information and establishing a therapeutic relationship. The focus will be on creating a safe space for you to share your experiences at your own pace. By the end of the session, we'll have a clearer understanding of how we can best work together to address your needs and therapeutic goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

My greatest strength as a provider is my ability to truly connect with my clients and create a safe, non-judgmental space for them to explore their thoughts and feelings. I believe deeply in the power of empathy and understanding, and I strive to build a strong therapeutic relationship based on trust and mutual respect. I believe that each client is unique, and I tailor interventions to meet your specific needs and goals. I also believe in empowering my clients to take an active role in their healing journey, while providing you with the tools and support you need to make lasting changes. I have extensive training and experience in proven methods such as CBT and EMDR, allowing me to offer effective treatment for a variety of concerns. I am a firm believer in staying up-to-date on the latest research and developments in the field, in order to ensure that I'm providing you with the best possible care.

My treatment methods

EMDR

EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) is a powerful therapy that helps you process and heal from distressing memories or experiences. It uses bilateral stimulation, like eye movements or tapping, while you focus on the troubling event, allowing your brain to reprocess the memory and reduce its emotional impact. EMDR can be effective in treating trauma, anxiety, phobias, and other conditions, helping you find relief and move forward.

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT (Cognitive Behavioral Therapy) is a goal-oriented therapy that helps you identify and challenge unhelpful thinking patterns that contribute to negative emotions and behaviors. You'll learn practical skills to manage your thoughts, cope with difficult situations, and develop a more balanced perspective, leading to lasting change.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

Person-centered therapy is a "whole person" focused approach that emphasizes the your natural existing capacity for growth and self-healing. I provide a supportive and non-judgmental environment, characterized by empathy, unconditional positive regard, and genuineness. I will collaborate with you to facilitate your self-exploration and self-actualization.
