Welcome and congratulations on taking the first step in your healing journey! First, my name is Cherie and I am originally from New York. My journey to becoming a therapist began while serving in the Army and having the opportunity to help Soldiers and their family members with personal issues/concerns. My experience led me to pursue formal schooling and training to be more of a service through therapy and providing much-needed resources to the people in need. This path has been rewarding for me, and being able to experience lives being transformed and people empowered continues to be an honor.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Our first session together will give us the opportunity to get to know each other while I also learn about your background. We will discuss what brings you to therapy and what you hope to gain from therapy. Any questions you have about me or the therapy process will be answered in this session. It's okay to feel nervous, and I will do my best to create a comfortable environment for you.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

One of my strengths is being able to engage people in a positive way. I also have a gift for seeing beyond what I see and hearing beyond what I hear in the sessions. Meaning, I can sometimes see and hear what you haven't shown or spoken.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

If you've ever felt disappointed, discouraged, or discontent and need a road map to feeling refreshed, renewed, and rewarded in life, I can help! A combination of depressive symptoms, or anxiety, and overthinking can make a regular day seem stressful, overwhelming and exhausting. We can work together to find the treatment that is right for you and your situation.
