My primary treatment method over the years has been cognitive behavioral therapy. It has been shown to be one of the most efficient therapies at creating change. My treatment will always include a thorough psychosocial assessment of your background and your family of origin. Treatment needs to be specific to the problems identified with measurable goals and objectives .therapy should not be confusing to the client. I like to assign homework outside of the therapy room for the client to continue the process of change in the real world .one assignment I like to use is a bibliotherapy to give clients more insight and understanding into their concerns. I will also use other types of therapy assignments as helpful.
