I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker with over 23 years of experience. I know that therapy should be a team approach. I have learned that you, the client, are the expert on yourself. I am here to help guide and empower you to discover your full potential. It is important to me to create a safe environment for healing.
In our first session together, we will discuss your history and identify specific challenges your are facing in current situations and relationships. We will develop a treatment plan to help you reach your goals for therapy.
I have experience working with men and women that have experienced sexual assault, military sexual assault, loss and other traumas. It is important to me to help with developing a safe environment and ways to build confidence in yourself and others.
My ideal client is someone who may look like they have it all together on the outside, but inside feels overwhelmed, disconnected or unsure of what comes next. You may be healing from trauma, navigating a major life transition, struggling with anxiety or depression or simply recognize that the way you've been living no longer feels right. I work especially well with people who are ready to understand themselves more deeply, break free from old patterns and create meaningful change.

I find CBT is one of the most effective in treating depression and anxiety by identifying our thoughts, feelings, behaviors and bodily sensations to create positive change.
Helping clients identify and accept the different parts of themselves can assist with healing the parts that are wounded.
Understanding how trauma impacts the body can assist in the healing process by helping to regulate emotions, increase connection, and understand how the nervous system reacts to cues of safety or danger.
