I also support concerns related to motivation, self-esteem, and confidence.

My role is to help you feel understood, identify what’s getting in the way, and develop practical tools that support meaningful change. I received my Bachelors degree in Psychology from Temple University and my Masters Degree in Counseling Psychology from Holy Family University. I am a Licensed Professional therapist and a Nationally Certified Counselor, that has worked with various populations from teenagers to the elderly in different settings including inpatient, partial hospitalization programs and intensive outpatient. While using Solution Focused Therapy, Cognitive Behavior Therapy, Dialectical Behavior Therapy, EMDR and Mindfulness approaches, I provide a nonjudgmental and safe environment to help clients through life's difficulties. I have experience with helping patients process grief and loss, trauma, substance abuse, personality disorders, being on the receiving end of narcissistic abuse and more common concerns such as anxiety, depression. In my free time, I enjoy spending time with my family & friends, stand up comedy and traveling.

Let me introduce myself. My name is Bradley Peters. I am a transplanted Canadian, who has been living in Pennsylvania since 2001, just before 9/11. I have been a therapeutic specialist in the field for over 17 years.
Reaching out to a professional can be daunting, but once you do, having that support and learning tools to help change those painful feelings becomes invaluable. My practice is small, isolated and private. I serve adolescents and adults 14 and up.
Currently, I am only seeing clients through telehealth, but I am hoping this does not dissuade you. Telehealth may sound impersonal, but in reality, it can be a very convenient, safe and secure way to communicate issues, and I have yet to have any difficulties establishing strong relationships through this medium.
I believe in the saying, “If you give a man a fish he eats for a day, but if you teach a man to fish he eats for a lifetime.” I teach techniques that can be implemented to overcome current hurdles and are also transferrable to be used in the future as needs arise.
My approach is to work collaboratively with clients to meet them where they are and learn their goals and aspirations so that we can develop a plan together to overcome obstacles. I have experience and enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families. My work is focused on helping individuals and families that are struggling with mood and learning disorders, anxiety, trauma, and other challenges.
I primarily practice psychodynamic techniques, and also incorporate CBT, mindfulness, trauma focused, Family Dynamics, Family Systems, and other modalities as appropriate.
I have diverse experience working with children, families, and adults across settings including schools, homes, hospitals, long-term care facilities, family court and juvenile justice systems, as well as those involved with DHS, foster care, and the adoption process.
Working with individuals & families experiencing and living with health challenges and/or disabilities is of particular interest to me.
