New to Grow
Hi, I'm Hailey, a Licensed Professional Counselor within the state of Pennsylvania. I obtained my master's in counseling psychology with a focus in social justice and community counseling from Delaware Valley University. I strive to maintain a safe and compassionate place for individuals to vocalize their mental health concerns, while providing clinical interventions to promote individualized growth and understanding. My approach is down-to-earth and collaborative in hopes to ensure client comfortability during sessions.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
The first session can be awkward at times, especially if an individual is starting therapy for the first time. My goal is to provide a person-centered collaborative approach to gain better insight into the situations that have prompted you to start therapy, as well as gaining insight into past behaviors and/or concerns. You have full control to express as much or as little as you want depending on your comfortable level. Therapeutic collaboration and trust are developed over time, not immediately expected. I'll provide information on what you can expect from the counseling process and identify ways that we can collaborate to achieve your goals.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
During sessions I utilize solution-focused therapy, cognitive behavioral therapy, motivational interviewing, somatic breathwork, psychoeducation, and mindfulness practices. This allows me to ensure that I can utilize a personalized approach for each individual regarding feedback, education, and goal setting.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I enjoy working with clients who are curious to learn how counseling can assist them, in hopes that they become empowered to make healthy changes within their lives. Many of the individuals I work with experience, stress, anxiety, depression, ADHD, trauma, and PTSD. The populations I have worked with include college students, teachers, healthcare workers, veterans, and individuals overcoming addictions.
