New to Grow
Brittany Carr, LCSW I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and received my Bachelors and Master's Degree in Social Work from West Chester University. I have extensive clinical experience in behavioral health and crisis intervention throughout Chester County, PA. My clinical background includes extensive knowledge on resources throughout the Main Line, working in multiple Chester County Hospitals and behavioral health agencies in the area over the past 15 years. I can help you to accomplish self-improvement and alleviation from symptoms with a combination of evidence-based approaches and mind-body-spiritual connection.
Our first session is about getting to know each other, building rapport, and gathering information to tailor your treatment. It can feel a bit awkward at first, and that's completely normal. During the session we will have our introductions, explain confidentiality and discuss why you are seeking therapy. My hope is that you will feel supported, comfortable and know that your feelings are valid.
I truly believe that seeking professional support and being able to form a relationship with a therapist who genuinely cares about your life, symptoms and goals is the first step to making real change. I will listen closely and show up with focused presence, helping you feel truly heard.
