Life rarely comes with a roadmap, and lately, just getting through your daily checklist might feel like an uphill battle. Maybe you are constantly doubting yourself, feeling hijacked by anxiety, or realizing that the way you’ve been coping with stress or anger just isn't working anymore. If you are a teenager, college student, adult, or an exhausted parent trying to handle a massive life transition by trial and error, I want you to know two things: your feelings make complete sense, and you do not have to figure this out by yourself.
The goal of our first session is simply to get to know each other and see how it feels to talk. I want to learn about what you are hoping to get out of therapy, and I'll do everything I can to make you feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we meet. By the end of our first conversation, we will decide together if we are a good match and outline what our path forward will look like.
My approach is warm, deeply collaborative, and entirely non-judgmental. I don't sit back and nod silently; I bring compassion, direct honesty, and practical tools to every session. Healing isn't a straight line—it is filled with twists, turns, and setbacks. Because of that, our work goes beyond just talking. We will look at how the things you tell yourself directly impact how you feel and act. Together, we will: Unpack Negative Self-Talk: Catch and restructure those automatic, harsh thoughts that keep you feeling stuck or anxious. Build Emotional Awareness: Use mindfulness tools to recognize stress before it turns into a physical meltdown or an angry outburst. Process the Past: If past trauma is hijacking your present daily life, we will use structured, evidence-based steps to change how those memories impact your current well-being. Take Action Between Sessions: True growth happens in your real life, not just in my office. We will find practical, everyday strategies to help you build focus, structure, and emotional control.
I have over seven years of experience helping people find their footing during difficult times. I am a great fit for you if you are looking for support with: Anger Management & Emotional Awareness: Learning how to regulate intense emotions before they damage your relationships. ADHD & Executive Functioning: Finding practical, everyday structure and focus when your brain feels scattered. Parenting & Major Life Transitions: Helping caregivers and adults navigate the messy shifts of life without losing themselves in the process. Anxiety, Depression, & Women's Issues: Expanding your toolkit to better manage daily pressure and reclaim your confidence.
