I am a licensed therapist who brings over seven years of experience helping individuals navigate life's struggles. I recently joined the Grow platform to be able to help more people. My childhood and compassion for others led me to be a therapist. This journey involved unexpected detours and new life experiences. I am accepting and understanding of the differences that make us unique and enrich our world. I am a helper by nature and dedicated to helping you reach your full potential. My greatest joy as a therapist is when clients achieve insight into what is holding them back. I will strive to assist you in finding your answers to life's struggles with compassion and honesty. We can work together to make positive changes in your life. I will support you on your journey to a better life. Juggling family and work can feel overwhelming. Are you feeling anxious, depressed, stressed, or burdened by everyday tasks? Sometimes, navigating daily life and the unexpected seems like more than we can handle. There is help; reaching out is the first step to feeling better.
In our first session together, here's what you can expect
As an empathetic and non-judgmental person, I strive to make you feel comfortable and at ease from the moment we meet. The goal of our first session is to get to know each other and begin building rapport. I want to learn about your expectations and therapy goals. At the end of the first session we can decide if we are a good fit and the direction treatment will take.
The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions
My therapeutic approach is genuine and recognizes that healing is not a linear journey; the path is often filled with twists and turns. Supporting your personal growth and emotional well-being is essential for successful therapy. I am here to help you navigate any barriers that may arise, offering encouragement and support along the way. Combining activities between sessions with our discussions during therapy can enhance treatment effectiveness and help you get the most out of our time together.
The clients I'm best positioned to serve
I have experience supporting parents during stressful times as well as helping clients manage ADHD symptoms, build coping skills, overcome anxiety and depression, improve relationships, and develop anger management skills. Most often, our coping skills were developed by trial and error without conscious awareness. If you find yourself struggling through life, doubting yourself, and wishing things could change, let me help you grow and learn. You have the power to create change because how you look at life and what you tell yourself directly impacts your behaviors. I believe everyone enriches this world in their own way when they are functioning at their highest level.
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Negative and irrational thoughts often keep us stuck. I can help you identify, challenge, and restructure your negative self-talk. That awareness and shift in thinking can help you overcome anxiety, improve your mood, and manage anger in healthier ways.
Supportive
Using a supportive therapeutic approach, I provide empathy and validation, which helps you feel understood while building a therapeutic relationship that fosters open communication. I'll encourage you to explore your thoughts and feelings in a safe environment, allowing you to become more self-aware and experience personal growth.
Humanistic
I support your autonomy and personal responsibility in decision-making through a humanistic lens. By emphasizing your personal perspective and individual experiences, I can help you navigate challenging life transitions. My goal is to improve your self-esteem by fostering feelings of self-worth and self-acceptance.
