I am a Licensed Professional Counselor with over 20 years experience supporting adults and adolescents through life's challenges. I have worked in private practice and a variety of other settings, helping individuals, couples and families navigate emotional, relational and life transitions. My current focus is working with individual adults and adolescents in private practice, where i offer a supportive and collaborative space for growth and healing. I believe therapy works best when clients feel comfortable, heard and respected. My goal is to create an environment where you can openly explore your concerns, better understand yourself, and begin making meaningful changes at a pace that feels right for you.

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During your first session we will focus on helping you feel at ease and getting to know one another. I will take time to understand what brings you to therapy and the challenges you are currently facing. Together we will begin to identify your goals and discuss a counseling plan that feels supportive, realistic, and aligned with what you want to achieve. I will help you to process and identify your specific challenges during this counseling appointment. This session is a starting point for building a trusting a productive therapeutic relationship.

I draw from approaches such as cognitive-base strategies, mindfulness practices, and relationship-focused work to support your growth. I am skilled at helping you learn positive coping skills, strengthen emotional awareness, and improve communication. I focus on what is already working in your life while also helping you develop healthier ways to manage stress, navigate conflict and build stronger personal and social connections. My role is to support, teach, encourage, and guide you as you gain insight set attainable goals and move toward positive change.

I work best with clients who are experiencing anxiety, depression, grief or loss, life transitions and family or relationship concerns. I help clients process emotions, identify triggers, set healthy boundaries, and recognize their personal strengths. Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, tailored to meet your needs. I have been providing counseling in private practice for over 21 years. My role as your therapist is to support, encourage, and guide you to your own self discoveries, by helping you to identify your core problems set and work on obtainable goals.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

In mindfulness-based therapy i will help you identify and observe your thoughts and feelings. Instead of letting your thoughts effect you negatively, you can learn to recognize what is learned or automatic and what is fact. Learn to gain control, calm your mind and body through techniques such as deep breathing and breath thoughts
