Hi! I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, psychotherapist and a Co-Occurring Disorder Professional Diplomate. I enjoy working with people with diverse issues. I am licensed in both Pennsylvania and Florida, but based primarily in Northeastern PA. As a Marywood University graduate, I have experience in addiction, crisis work, as well as working with folks suffering from anxiety, depression, and grief. I have also worked with domestic violence victims and also offer anger management.

First session

In our first session we will get to know each other, deciding if we are a good fit to work together. If you deem, I am not the therapist for you, I can assist you in finding your good fit. We will dive into your issues and tailor treatment specifically for your needs. I can tailor my hours to the needs of my client's and I enjoy getting to know people.

Strengths

Having diverse experience as well as life experience, I bring a great deal of passion and expertise to the field. I spent time finding what works for me and can be an asset in assisting you to find what works for you! I do trainings on a regular basis and am in the process of being CAMS trained.

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

CBT is a proven therapeutic strategy which challenges cognitions to change behaviors.

EMDR

I have been using EMDR to assist clients to process their trauma without having to relive it through the use of bilateral stimulation, either through the use of eye movements or tapping.

Mindfulness-Based Therapy

I have been using mindfulness to assist people with staying in the here and now and not living in the past or the future. Staying present allow clients to enjoy today .

First meeting with Patty was great I did alot of talking but she was very understanding about everything i told her. She listened to my back story. Often adding questions about what I have gone through to help her understand more about me. Can't wait for next for the next session next week.
