About me

I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker who has been working with individual clients for over 10 years. My mission is to provide the support you need and help you both identify and achieve your goals in a therapeutic setting. Whether that be decreasing unwanted mental health symptoms, enhancing coping skills, or navigating a difficult/traumatic life event, I am here for you. I specialize in working with both adolescents and adults, and I am able to provide EMDR, Parts Work, DBT and CBT to my clients.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During our first session I want to give you the space you have been looking for, a safe space where someone listens without judgement. I will be asking you questions about what led you to therapy, what your world looks like today, your family history and whatever else you would like me to know. This session we will get to know each other and I welcome any questions you have about myself and my work experience!

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strenghts are meeting clients where they are at in life while having the ability to assist them in making the life changes they want to make. Through a combination of modalities such as EMDR, Parts Work, DBT and CBT we will be able to make the progress you are yearning to make.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I enjoy working with any client that is motivated for treatment. If you feel like you are struggling to manage stress, anxiety, depression, a previous traumatic event or a difficult relationship then I am a great fit for you. Together we can decrease your symptoms and increase your overall quality of life.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

I’ve been using CBT in my practice for the past ten years. It’s helped dozens of clients challenge recurring thoughts and manage their anxiety. We’ll use CBT to recognize how your thoughts, feelings, and behaviors influence each other. We’ll then use that knowledge to change your thinking patterns, which will help you lead a less anxious and stressed life.

EMDR

I've been using EMDR in my practice for the past two years. The method has helped many clients work through traumatic memories and events through decreasing their trauma symptoms and responses. EMDR will help decrease arousal symptoms and increase overall life satisfaction.

Dialectical Behavior (DBT)

I've been utilizing DBT in my practice for the last six years and it has helped my clients increase their ability to cope in stressful situations and effectively communicate when it matters most. Through this method I teach my clietns effective skills that pair well with the other treatment methods listed above.

Trauma-Focused CBT

I've been utilizing TFCBT in my practice for the last three years and it has proven to be very effective with children struggling with trauma symptoms. Through this method children gain a better understanding of the trauma response, coping skills and are able to refocus on enjoying childhood.
