Hi! I'm a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) licensed in both Louisiana an Georgia. I received my Masters from Southern University at New Orleans and have been practicing for 17 years. I work with individuals who are experiencing depression, anxiety, grief, trauma, relationship issues, stress management, LGBTQIA+ issues, domestic abuse, and mood disorders. I believe my clients have the solutions to their issues, but needs a little help navigating through the process.

I am a therapist that likes to set goals and work towards getting clients the changes they are seeking: To feel better and to see positive changes in their lives. We will begin by talking and processing the issues and then figuring out what would be most helpful. I believe in listening to what my clients need an developing an individualized approach for each person. Clients would describe me as warm, open, non-directive, and affirming. I ask lots of questions to create further exploration and insight. I believe that the client is the director of his/ her own life and the therapist is a facilitator to help them get to deeper truths within. I work with clients to uncover root causes and treat the deeper issues, not just the symptoms. We come away from sessions with a plan of action for improvement.

I am licensed in Georgia with over 10 years of professional work experience. I have experience in helping clients with stress and anxiety, family conflicts, parenting issues, & motivation, self esteem, confidence, crisis intervention and more. I believe in treating everyone with respect, sensitivity, and compassion. My practice was created to assist others in creating a change in their lives that was necessary and beneficial to their needs. Sometimes we all just need a little push.
