Life can pile up on all of us. Maybe you’ve been carrying more than you show, feeling tired or unsure of your direction. If you’re overwhelmed or ready for change, you’re not alone. Reaching out is a strength. My approach is warm and grounded, focused on helping you feel seen and understood.

Helping Individuals Navigate Life's Challenges Through Compassionate, Evidence-Based Care.

Through CBT and other evidence‑based tools, we’ll untangle unhelpful patterns and build strategies for clarity and confidence. With 14+ years in mental health, I bring compassion, experience, and a belief in your ability to heal.

First session

I enjoy working with individuals, couples, and families who are going through life's challenges and looking for a safe place to process, heal, and grow. Some may be feeling overwhelmed by stress, anxiety, relationship struggles, grief, caregiving responsibilities, or major life transitions. Others may simply feel stuck and want support in finding their way forward. You don't have to have everything figured out before starting therapy. In fact, many people come to therapy feeling uncertain, exhausted, or unsure of what they need. My ideal clients are those who are willing to show up as they are, and together we'll work toward creating meaningful change at a pace that feels comfortable and manageable. What I Hope You Take Away From the First Session My hope is that after our first session, you feel lighter than when you walked in. I want you to feel heard, understood, and accepted without judgment. Beginning therapy can feel vulnerable, so I strive to create an environment where you can be yourself and know that you're not facing your challenges alone. I also hope you leave with a sense of hope. Even if we don't have all the answers right away, I want you to feel confident that we're moving in the right direction together and that healing and growth are possible. My Approach I believe that every person, relationship, and family has unique strengths, experiences, and needs. Because of that, I tailor my approach to each client. With individuals, I focus on building a trusting relationship where you can explore your thoughts, feelings, and experiences openly. Together, we'll identify your strengths, develop healthy coping skills, and work toward the goals that matter most to you. With couples, I help create a space where both partners feel heard and valued. We work on improving communication, navigating conflict, rebuilding trust, and strengthening emotional connection. With families, I look at how everyone impacts and supports one another. My goal is to help family members improve communication, deepen understanding, and create healthier patterns that support the entire family system. No matter who I'm working with, my approach is rooted in compassion, collaboration, and respect. I see therapy as a partnership, and I feel honored to walk alongside clients as they navigate life's challenges and discover their own resilience and capacity for change.

Strengths

What sets my approach apart is my ability to balance compassion with accountability. My life experiences have taught me that healing often requires both being deeply heard and being gently challenged. I have experienced situations that required resilience, adaptation, and empathy for people navigating difficult circumstances. Those experiences helped me develop a strong ability to sit with discomfort without rushing to fix it, while also recognizing when someone may benefit from a different perspective or a direct question. In sessions, I do not believe one approach fits every person. Some individuals need a quiet, supportive space where they can process their thoughts and emotions without judgment. In those moments, I am comfortable simply holding space, listening carefully, and allowing insight to emerge naturally. Others may be feeling stuck in patterns that no longer serve them. When appropriate, I will respectfully push back, challenge assumptions, or encourage deeper self-reflection to help promote growth and change. My background as a social worker has strengthened my understanding that every person carries a unique story shaped by both strengths and struggles. Rather than focusing solely on problems, I work collaboratively with clients to identify resilience, build on existing strengths, and create practical steps toward their goals. I believe meaningful change happens when people feel both supported and empowered, and I strive to provide that balance in every interaction.

Ideal clients

My ideal client is someone who is ready to explore challenges, build insight, and create meaningful change in their life. They may be experiencing stress, anxiety, depression, life transitions, relationship concerns, grief, or difficulties adjusting to personal or professional demands. They are seeking a supportive, nonjudgmental space where they can feel heard and understood while developing practical skills to improve their well-being. Whether they are navigating a major life change, managing emotional challenges, or working toward personal growth, they are open to a collaborative therapeutic process and committed to making positive changes at a pace that feels right for them

Treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

In my practice, I use Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. I work collaboratively with clients to recognize unhelpful or distorted thinking patterns that may contribute to emotional distress or maladaptive behaviors. Through guided discussion, cognitive restructuring, and skill-building exercises, clients learn to challenge negative beliefs and replace them with more balanced and realistic thoughts. I also incorporate behavioral interventions, such as activity scheduling, problem-solving, goal setting, and coping skills development, to encourage positive behavioral changes. Clients are often given practical homework assignments to help them apply CBT techniques in real-life situations and reinforce skills learned during sessions. Throughout treatment, I monitor progress, provide support and feedback, and adjust interventions based on the client's individual needs and treatment goals. CBT is particularly effective in helping clients develop greater self-awareness, improve emotional regulation, strengthen coping strategies, and increase their ability to manage stress, anxiety, depression, and other psychosocial challenges.
