The problem is that I have been referring homebound people for outpatient therapy. This is not effective for many reasons. I am a licensed mental health counselor and have been in this field for over 20 years. I have worked in all settings with various types of individuals who struggle with basic stress management to severe and persistent mental illness. I enjoy working with individuals and couples. I can assist in helping learn healthy communication skills, coping skills, boundaries, improve self-esteem and assertiveness.

I am a clinical social worker who provides individual therapy for adults. Over the course of my 20 plus year career, I have worked in various settings with a variety of client populations. As a therapist my role is to provide a non-judgmental, safe environment for individuals to explore their life issues and support them in their personal growth. I find that a lot of us struggle with listening to our inner critic and often beat ourselves up for past regrets, as well as spending a lot of valuable time worrying about the past and the "what if's" in the future. I hope we can work together to quiet this critic and find a way to enjoy the present. Please note that my education and experience does not include working with clients presenting with eating disorders, trauma, or OCD.
