New to Grow
I’m a therapist at Radically Human Therapy Solutions, and I believe that every person’s story matters. I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by emotions, stuck in patterns that no longer serve them, or are navigating life transitions that feel uncertain. In our work together, I combine evidence-based approaches like CBT, DBT, and trauma-informed care with a human-first perspective, creating a space where you can feel truly seen, heard, and understood. I guide clients to uncover their strengths, explore challenges safely, and develop practical tools that help them navigate emotions, relationships, and personal growth. My goal is to support you in building resilience, gaining clarity, and living a life that feels authentic, meaningful, and aligned with who you truly are.
In our first session, we’ll focus on getting to know you and understanding what brings you to therapy. I’ll ask about your experiences, goals, and current challenges, and together we’ll explore what a supportive, personalized approach looks like for you. This session is a space to share your story, ask questions, and begin building a collaborative relationship. You can expect a warm, nonjudgmental environment where your voice is heard and your needs guide the pace of our work. By the end, we’ll have a sense of how to move forward together in a way that feels safe, empowering, and aligned with your goals.
I help clients transform insight into action by focusing on strengths, possibilities, and practical strategies for change. My approach emphasizes clarity and momentum, supporting clients as they set achievable goals, overcome obstacles, and take concrete steps toward the life they want. I guide clients to recognize their own capacity for growth and empower them to move forward with confidence and purpose.
I work with individuals who feel overwhelmed by intense emotions, stuck in unhelpful patterns, or uncertain how to navigate relationships and life transitions. My ideal clients are ready to explore their thoughts and feelings in a safe, nonjudgmental space and want practical tools to build resilience, manage stress, and create meaningful change. I support clients seeking to understand themselves more deeply, develop healthier coping strategies, and move toward a life that feels more grounded, authentic, and aligned with their values.
I use DBT with clients who experience strong emotions, feel stuck in unhelpful patterns, or want healthier ways to manage stress and relationships. DBT teaches practical skills in four main areas: mindfulness to stay grounded in the present, emotion regulation to better understand and manage feelings, distress tolerance to get through crisis moments, and interpersonal effectiveness to build healthier connections. In my practice, DBT is not a rigid program but a flexible toolkit we adapt together. Sometimes that means learning concrete ways to calm your nervous system when emotions feel overwhelming. Other times it might mean practicing new communication strategies so you can feel more confident in your relationships. DBT fits naturally with my Radically Human approach because it accepts that life can be messy and difficult while also offering tools to create a life that feels more grounded, intentional, and aligned with your values.
I often use CBT with clients who want to better understand the connection between their thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Many people come to therapy feeling stuck in cycles of negative self-talk, overwhelming worry, or patterns that don’t align with who they want to be. CBT offers a clear framework to recognize these patterns and practice more balanced ways of thinking and responding. In my practice, I use CBT collaboratively and flexibly, not as a one-size-fits-all approach. Together we identify the thoughts and beliefs that may be fueling distress and explore practical strategies to shift them. This might include learning to challenge unhelpful thinking, experimenting with new coping tools, or creating healthier routines that support your goals. My aim is to make CBT skills feel approachable and relevant, so you can carry them into your daily life with confidence. CBT connects well with my Radically Human approach because it empowers you to see how your mind and body respond to stress while also giving you space to practice new ways of thinking and living that feel more authentic and sustainable.
At the heart of my practice is a person-centered approach, which means I believe you are the expert on your own life. This method is grounded in the idea that healing happens best in an atmosphere of empathy, acceptance, and authenticity. My role is not to tell you who to be or how to live, but to create a safe, nonjudgmental space where you feel genuinely heard and supported. In sessions, I focus on building a collaborative relationship where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences at your own pace. Instead of directing the conversation, I follow your lead, while offering reflections and insights to help you deepen your self-awareness. Many clients find that this supportive environment allows them to tap into their own inner strengths and begin to make meaningful changes in their lives. Person-centered therapy aligns deeply with my Radically Human approach because it honors your humanity first. It creates space for you to be fully yourself, while also empowering you to grow into the version of yourself you most want to be.
Typically, I approach every client with a trauma-informed lens, recognizing how past experiences can shape the way you see yourself, relate to others, and navigate the world. Trauma can show up in many ways, sometimes through anxiety, depression, difficulty with relationships, or feeling disconnected from your body. My goal is to provide a space that feels safe, supportive, and empowering so you never feel re-traumatized in the process of healing. In my practice, being trauma-informed means prioritizing trust, choice, collaboration, and empowerment. I pay close attention to your comfort level, invite you to set the pace, and offer tools to regulate your nervous system so that therapy feels manageable and grounding. We may integrate techniques from evidence-based methods like CBT or DBT, always in a way that honors your unique needs and lived experience. Trauma-informed care is central to my Radically Human approach. It emphasizes compassion, safety, and respect, creating the conditions where you can reclaim your voice, rebuild stability, and move toward healing at a pace that feels right for you.
I use psychoeducation to help clients better understand their thoughts, emotions, behaviors, and mental health conditions. Knowledge is a powerful tool for change, and learning about how your mind and body respond to stress, trauma, or patterns of thinking can give you clarity and a sense of control. Psychoeducation helps demystify what you are experiencing and can reduce self-blame while providing practical strategies for growth. In my practice, I tailor psychoeducation to your unique needs and pace. We explore information together, discuss how it applies to your life, and identify tools or approaches that resonate with you. Whether it involves understanding anxiety responses, learning about coping skills, or exploring relationship patterns, psychoeducation is always integrated with compassion and support. Psychoeducation aligns with my Radically Human approach because it empowers you with understanding while keeping your experiences and goals at the center of the work. It creates a foundation for self-awareness, informed decision-making, and meaningful growth.
