Hello. I am a licensed professional counselor who has worked in Georgia for 25+ years. My experience includes a Girl’s Group Home, several psychiatric facilities, Nursing Homes and private practice. My clientele ranges from adolescents to Senior Citizens. I have worked extensively with psychiatrists to asses clients in order to provide care.

First session
In my first session, I want to know what was the deciding factor that brought you to counseling, your family history, and your goals and expectations of counseling. I want to get to know who you are and your motivation and commitment to being in counseling. I will also answer any questions or concerns about my experience and expertise in the counseling field.
Strengths
I have years of clinical and personal experience that is valuable in helping you in your journey. I have many support contacts that I have developed over the years that can be invaluable.
Ideal clients
I would like to serve clients who are in transition-from adolescence to young adults, from college to the workforce, from the workforce to retirement, or from marriage to divorce or being widowed. I have done many grief sessions-grief from death, divorce or loss due to illness. Most of my clients range from 18-58-clients who are experiencing some form of transition in life.
Treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
Providing tools that will help the client change faulty thinking and unhelpful behavior. Most of my practice incorporates this treatment method because of its proven effectiveness.
