About me

I am a licensed professional counselor who primarily uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) to help clients identify and challenge unhelpful thought patterns while developing healthier coping skills and behaviors. I strive to create a warm, supportive, and nonjudgmental environment where clients feel safe to explore their concerns. I value collaboration, evidence-based practice, and tailoring treatment to each client's unique needs and goals to promote lasting growth and positive change.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

During the intake session, I explain the therapeutic process, review informed consent, discuss confidentiality and its limits, answer any questions the client may have, and begin building rapport. I gather information about the client's presenting concerns, relevant history, strengths, goals, and expectations for therapy. I also explain my CBT approach, what clients can expect in sessions, and work collaboratively to develop an initial treatment plan that meets their individual needs.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strengths include empathy, active listening, effective communication, adaptability, professionalism, strong clinical judgment, organization, and building trusting therapeutic relationships with clients.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

When life gets heavy, our minds can run in circles that feel impossible to break. Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) gives us a safe space to pause and examine those cycles together. If anxiety has your brain constantly anticipating the worst, or if depression makes even getting out of bed feel like a mountain, CBT offers practical ways forward. We’ll look at how your thoughts, emotions, and physical responses impact how you move through the world. Together, we step back from the overwhelm, challenge the negative patterns keeping you stuck, and build steady, real-world tools so you can reconnect with peace, purpose, and yourself.
