I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker conducting sessions virtually in New York, New Jersey, Illinois, Pennsylvania and Nevada. I specialize in people that are going through tough times and need coping skills to manage. Life might have thrown you curve balls, and you might not be accepting of the uncertainty and the change. I'll be here to tell you that bad situations can be temporary and life changes can also be great. I specialize in helping people who fall down but get back up. I'll help you to talk about your feelings and help you to make treatment goals that you have been wanting to reach.
What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?
In our first session, rules and rights will be discussed. An intake assessment will be reviewed or conducted. Mental health screens will also be reviewed. Also, talk therapy about concerns, challenges and goals will take place. If intake assessments and screens are done before the first session, there will be more time to talk about the main problems that brought you to therapy.
Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.
As a provider, I feel that my greatest strengths are being able to identify what makes you special. I will tell you about your best characteristics and strengths. I always seem to see the good in people and we can talk about my observations during our sessions.

VirtualMy treatment methods
Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)
I use CBT to help manage thoughts and behaviors that are preventing you from living a happier life. If we get to the root of the problems, by identifying disordered thinking and behavioral patterns, we can start to work on changing them.
Dialectical Behavior (DBT)
DBT is what I use when you are struggling with intense emotions and need to cope better. DBT gives you interventions that you can use in the moment to feel better.
Psychodynamic
If you want to talk about the past or process your feelings, needs and desires, I use psychodynamic therapy.
