About me

Do your own needs always seem to fall to the bottom of your to-do list? Do you catch yourself wondering if life should feel better… happier? You’re not alone. Many people today feel anxious, overwhelmed, and unsure of how to manage their relationships, careers, and responsibilities. Ignoring your own needs can lead to emotional and physical exhaustion—but change is possible. I’m a graduate of the University of West Georgia with a Bachelor’s in Psychology and hold a Master’s in Professional Counseling from Argosy University. Since 2009, I’ve worked in private practice, counseling individuals and families. My areas of focus include depression, anxiety, relationship challenges, and substance abuse.

Get to know me

In our first session together, here's what you can expect

Your first counseling appointment, also known as an intake or assessment session, is an introductory meeting where you and I will get to know each other. This session focuses on gathering information to establish a foundation for a therapeutic relationship, set treatment goals, and ensure a good client-therapist fit. Some background information and basic questions such as "What brings you to therapy at this time?", "What has been troubling you lately?", and "How are your symptoms impacting your life?" will be discussed.

The biggest strengths that I bring into our sessions

My greatest strength is the ability to guide a client toward seeing opportunities for growth without dismissing or minimizing their pain.

The clients I'm best positioned to serve

I offer a safe, nonjudgmental space where you can process your thoughts and emotions at your own pace. There’s no single approach that works for everyone, so I tailor each session to your comfort level, personality, and goals. My aim is for you to leave each session feeling more centered, hopeful, and equipped to take the next step toward healing.
