Hi, my name is Dr. Felicia Wilson. I am a licensed clinical social worker based in Georgia. I have been a social worker since 1998. In a nurturing and welcoming setting, I help professional women discover their voice, overcome self-limiting thoughts and beliefs, and achieve balance between their personal and professional lives in a fulfilling way. Collaboratively, we develop and execute personalized plans to regain focus and restore harmony to their lives. Clients who work with me desire to find restoration and balance in the midst of navigating these life circumstances.

What can clients expect to take away from sessions with you?

In our first session, I explain the helping process and learn what the client wants and expects. We take a good amount of time getting to know one another. My goal is to create a relaxing and collaborative environment so the client can reach their goals.

Explain to clients what areas you feel are your biggest strengths.

I have worked with women and families for two decades. During that time, I have honed my listening and observation skills. This helps me understand what the client is conveying verbally and nonverbally. I also have the ability to create a nonjudgmental and positive environment that allows the client to share their thoughts. I also focus on client strengths. This is huge because strengths in one area can be a catalyst for another area.

Describe the client(s) you are best positioned to serve.

In a nurturing and welcoming environment, I help professional women to find their voice, master self-limiting thoughts and beliefs and learn how to balance personal and professional roles in a fulfilling manner. These women seek support for depression, anxiety, and family caregiving concerns.

My treatment methods

Cognitive Behavioral (CBT)

Many people don’t realize how much their thoughts shape their actions and, ultimately, their experiences. In my practice, I help clients explore the connection between their thoughts, behaviors, and the outcomes they create in their lives. Together, we assess thought patterns, identify those that may be holding them back, and develop a personalized plan to shift their mindset. By making intentional changes in thinking, clients can foster healthier behaviors and create more fulfilling experiences.

Person-centered (Rogerian)

In our work together, you’ll find a warm, supportive space where you can show up just as you are—no masks, no pressure to have it all figured out. Whether you're a professional woman feeling stretched thin between work and home, or a caregiver navigating the emotional weight of supporting someone you love, my approach is centered around you. I believe you already hold the answers within you—I’m here to help you reconnect with that inner wisdom. Together, we’ll explore what’s holding you back, challenge self-limiting beliefs, and find practical strategies that feel right for your life. My role isn’t to “fix” you, but to walk alongside you with compassion and clarity as you create the balance, peace, and fulfillment you deserve.
