New to Grow
I am a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Georgia with over 15 years of professional experience. I specialize in helping individuals navigate anxiety, depression, trauma, grief and loss, stress, self-esteem, and life transitions. My therapeutic approach is compassionate, collaborative, and tailored to each client's unique needs and goals. I believe every individual deserves to be treated with dignity, respect and empathy. Together, we will develop a personalized treatment plan that fosters growth, resilience, and meaningful change. Taking the first step toward therapy requires courage, and I am committed to providing a safe, supportive environment where you feel heard, understood, and empowered throughout your journey.
During the first session, my priority is to establish a strong therapeutic relationship while gaining a comprehensive understanding of your concerns, history, strengths, and treatment goals. This initial assessment allows us to collaboratively develop a plan that is individualized and aligned with your needs. My goal is to create a safe, nonjudgemental space where you can feel comfortable sharing your experiences at your own pace. Together, we will begin identifying practical strategies to help you move toward meaningful and lasting change.
My therapeutic approach is rooted in creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgemental environment where clients feel comfortable being their authentic selves. I believe that a strong therapeutic relationship is the foundation for meaningful growth and lasting change. I strive to provide compassionate, individualized care that empowers clients to overcome challenges, build resilience and achieve their personal goals. I am committed to recognizing and celebrating each client's progress throughout the therapeutic process while ensuring they feel heard, valued, respected, and supported every step of the way.
I love working with adults who are motivated to engage in the therapeutic process and committed to personal growth, regardless of where they are in their journey. I value individuals who are willing to explore their thoughts and emotions, consider feedback, and actively apply new skills outside of sessions. Together, we work to overcome challenges, build resilience, and develop the tools needed to achieve meaningful, lasting change so clients can reach their fullest potential.

Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) is my primary treatment modality and serves as the foundation of my therapeutic approach. CBT is an evidence-based treatment that helps identify and modify unhelpful thought patterns, beliefs, and behaviors that contribute to emotional distress. Together, we will explore the connection between your thoughts, emotions, and behaviors while developing practical coping strategies to promote healthier thinking patterns, improve emotional regulation, and strengthen problem-solving skills. My goal is to empower clients with the tools and confidence needed to achieve lasting, meaningful change both in and outside of therapy.
I utilize DBT to help clients develop practical skills for managing intense emotions, improving interpersonal relationships, increasing distress tolerance, and strengthening emotional regulation. I value DBT because it balances acceptance and change, allowing clients to feel validated while also building the tools needed to create meaningful, lasting change. I often integrate DBT techniques with CBT to provide individualized treatment that promotes resilience, mindfulness, and healthier coping strategies.
I incorporate psychodynamic principles to help clients gain deeper insight into how past experiences, attachment patterns, and unconscious processes influence their current thoughts, emotions and relationships. I believe that increasing self-awareness can lead to lasting emotional growth and healthier patterns of functioning. While my approach is collaborative and evidence based, I use psychodynamic exploration when appropriate to help clients understand the root causes of their struggles rather than simply managing symptoms.
I approach every client through a trauma informed lens, recognizing that past experiences can significantly influence emotional well-being, relationships and coping patterns. I prioritize creating a safe, supportive, and nonjudgmental therapeutic environment where clients feel empowered and respected throughout the healing process. By integrating evidence-based approaches such as CBT, mindfulness, and emotion regulation strategies, I help clients build resilience, develop heathier coping skills and work toward lasting emotional wellness at a pace that feels safe.
Grief is a deeply personal experience with no universal timeline. I provide a compassionate and supportive space where clients can process the emotional impact of loss while honoring their unique experiences. Whether grieving the death of a loved one, the end of a relationship, a life transition, or another significant loss, I help clients navigate difficult emotions, strengthen coping skills and find meaning as they adjust to life after loss. My approach is individualized and focused on fostering healing while respecting each client's personal journey.
