I’m a Licensed Professional Counselor who provides a warm, supportive, and practical space for clients navigating stress, anxiety, trauma, relationships, life transitions, and personal growth. My approach is collaborative and down-to-earth, with a focus on helping clients better understand themselves, build healthier patterns, and feel more confident moving forward. I believe therapy should feel like a safe place to be honest, reflect, heal, and create meaningful change.
Your first session is an opportunity for us to get to know one another and begin understanding what brought you to therapy. We’ll talk about what you’ve been experiencing, what feels most important to you right now, and what you hope to gain from our work together. There is no pressure to share everything at once or have all the answers. My goal is to create a comfortable, judgment-free space where you can begin at your own pace. By the end of the session, we’ll have a clearer understanding of your needs, identify some initial goals, and begin developing a plan for moving forward together.
I bring warmth, authenticity, and a down-to-earth approach to my sessions. I want clients to feel like they can show up as they are without fear of judgment or pressure to have everything figured out. One of my strengths is being able to meet clients where they are while still gently challenging patterns that may be keeping them stuck. I am flexible in my approach and understand that sometimes a client may need practical tools and strategies, while other times they simply need space to process, reflect, and feel heard. I also bring a strong focus on resilience, self-awareness, boundaries, and helping clients recognize the strengths they may have overlooked in themselves. My goal is for therapy to feel supportive, collaborative, and useful not like a one-size-fits-all process.
My ideal client is someone who may be feeling overwhelmed, stuck, emotionally exhausted, or uncertain about what comes next, but is open to gaining a deeper understanding of themselves and making meaningful changes. They may be navigating anxiety, stress, trauma, relationship challenges, work-related burnout, or a major life transition. I work well with clients who want a supportive space to process what they are experiencing while also learning practical tools to improve boundaries, communication, coping, and self-awareness. You do not have to have everything figured out you just need to be willing to show up honestly and take the next step toward feeling more grounded, confident, and aligned with the life you want to create.

CBT teaches my clients to use coping skills for dealing with different problems. Focusing on how their thoughts, beliefs and attitudes affect their feelings and actions.
Acceptance and commitment therapy (ACT) helps guide and teach my clients to accept their thoughts and feelings while committing to living according to your values.
Client centered therapy, or person centered therapy, is an approach to talk therapy that require my clients to actively take the reins during each therapy session, while I act as a guide or a source of support for the client.
This approach is goal-focused incorporating positive psychology principles and practices, and which helps clients change by constructing solutions rather then focusing on the problem..

I chose Ebony because her profile was more about behavioral control and solutions than medication. And even though I was never in the service I felt like her having been in the service would more than likely mean she has seen and dealt with PTSD in a way that would benefit me. I may have been presumptuous in thinking that but so far the sessions have helped me greatly and I am very very appreciative of that.

I chose Ebony because of her experience with behavior therapy. My first session was direct and she was very good at keeping it light and helping me feel at ease and able to talk. I look forward to our next session.

She is very relatable and talks in a way that helps you understand what she means. Felt very comfortable explaining my situation and I felt heard.
